i personally think there will be a pc version, but as of right now, it doesn't exist, so a discussion for it isn't necessary, and you guys are just merely going on assumptions at this point

I have a Kindle and a collection of books. I have a smartphone and a landline. I have multiple TVs. Why should I become a fanboy about one particular thing?

3. if GTA V is literally only released on say... gamecube today, and you don't own a gamecube would you buy a gamecube for it? to play with all the worse technical aspect on the game compared to what it 'could have been' on ps3? imagine an even worse graphics than iv, much much longer loading times and no DVD/blu ray, just plain old CDs you'd have to deal with 10 CDs to play gta v on a gamecube. Again, would you buy the all inferior gamecube for just 1 game? good for you if you do, but maybe only 1 out of 10000 people will do that.

Guys the last window for an announcement is gone, looks like Rockstar changed their strategy, so don't expect anything till the Japanese console version is out and they got the numbers of their harvest. A simple announcement of the existence of such version would be a bad decision and would slash those sales, the current gen consoles are done for in terms of sales, now it's the time for Japan and that will last a week at best.

 

As for GTAOnline getting more trouble with PC players added taht hardly would happen for two main reasons, the first is that the servers that are used for consoles won't be the same for PC players, they won't be cross platform so there won't be any connection, second the way computers handle the connection with their servers is different from consoles. So one thing doesn't prevent the other, the biggest problem is that Rockstar was too ambitious and tried to do something that will be the war flag of the new generation of consoles, using the old ones.

It's getting really crazy here, and for no reason.

 

Internet communities really baffle me sometimes (more and more lately). Maybe I'm getting old or some crap.

I will never understand why do people feel the need to start throwing insults as soon as something is not how they imagine/would like it to be.

I'm truly shocked sometimes. Especially when I see what are some people sending to Devs and then be dumbf*cked when we get no meaningful response.

 

I wanted to write more, but I'm getting really depressed looking at the state of this thread.

Actually the biggest problems currently seem to be with the actual backend servers not the actual game servers, It could very well be that these are shared amongst all platorms. Even if these were also completely separate, thinking the GTAO problems would mean business as usual for the pc version is something that is very hard to imagine.

Changed their strategy?? They changed their strategy long time ago by announcement of releasing Japanese version 3 weeks after NA release instead one or two years, or 6months as usually.

That's because the background color of MP3 is white and you would'nt be able to see it.

From GTA V it's dark, so you are able to see white.

Can you link me to the actual article in which this was said, not saying he didn't say it, but to actually understand what he meant, we need to read the whole quote, as now we cannot place it into context. Was he talking about release cycle, features, graphic quality ?
