Its guesses, because some of them also changed it. From 2013 to an actual date and one is very confident about them having the keys at 12-11-2013

Improbable to almost impossible that either Sony or Microsoft could pay Rockstar enough to keep it exclusive. I'd say those days are long gone.

I gave in and bought it for the XBOX a while back. I'm not going to buy it a second time but I wonder what the modding community will do for GTA.

I think it's gotta do something with Leeds. I mean, what else could they be doing? Agent is a PS3 exclusive, isn't it? And Rockstar already stated they wouldn't be focusing on other games while GTA V is still growing, let alone make one of their studios handle possible ports/simultaneous development alongside consoles.

 

Maybe it was in front of us the whole time. Maybe Leeds was handling it all this time to fully optimize it and polish it.

 

Maybe I'm just clutching and straws because I'm at the brink of being suicidal.

Man, I realized that for Tom Clancy's The Division there was a petition aswell and Ubisoft was even encouraging players to sign it while Rockstar doesn't even mention it. That makes me really sad about how Rockstar treats potential customers, Ubisoft Tom Clancy's The Division petition ended succesfully at 140,020 supporters, while GTA V PC petition have almost 600k and still no answer.

I was looking at the newswire a few minutes ago and R* said they yre posting announcement about the patch.. I hope it will go something like that: We fixed GTA Online, now get ready for GTA on PC

 

Also nice job with Ubisoft and the The Division.. they just ranked up in my books..

What logic is there in that, they're rushing out patches to try and get the shambles that is GTA Online working, I don't think PC Only Gamers understand just how much Rockstars servers have taken a beating from GTA V and GTA Online and that's just the consoles alone, let them sort this sh*t out first before adding another platform on top. I'd love to also play a PC version, but come on, Rockstar are struggling like mad keeping up with the demand just from the consoles alone, they need to fix this first before even thinking about announcing other versions, which, PR wise, would be a bad idea as many websites would take it as "Hey guys, we know everything is broken, SO BUY THE PC VERSION AND GIVE US MORE MONEY, we might fix it then".

Honestly, I might just take these 60 euros I've been saving for a GTA V pre-order and throw them at the Black Flag Digital Deluxe Edition on Steam right now.

 

As I've mentioned too many times before in this thread, I am a long-time AC fan/vet. Ubisoft, despite delaying the Assassin's Creed games on PC so many times, at least had the actual human reasoning and announced the delays well before the games' release. This way, everyone was aware and everyone could plan their purchases accordingly.

 

Despite all of the mistakes Ubi has made. Some awful and some just outright stupid. They're more than alright by me from the games they created and pushed. Assassin's Creed, Splinter Cell. Games that were a happy part of my teenhood and games that I have grown to outright love.

 

Rockstar, though? Rockstar is like this cold, game-making, money-lusting machine. Yeah, sure. They make great (amazing, even) games. But what good does that do them when they're just so... stiff and unresponsive to everything around them? And when they do respond, they act all tough and professional like they have a glorified bad-boy stick up their rectum.

 

Whatever their earlier ambitions, the ones that changed gaming (GTA III and onwards), Rockstar has really become even less human in terms of relations with their fanbases than companies like EA (EA is still worse by a long, long shot though).

 

The more I look at other developers, the more I realize this.

 

So in all honesty, if Rockstar continues like this, what's the point in me giving them my money? I am not trying to sound butthurt and spoiled by any means. But I am asking a serious question;

 

If a developer/publisher that I have followed for years, the one I have seen make grave mistakes as well as great accomplishments, is standing there with a new entry in a series that I have loved and Rockstar, another company that I have followed since teenhood, is outright ignoring me (Not just me, obviously. The entirety of the PC community of course) because they've made it high and mighty, who do I side with here?

 

I wish the answer was both. But it is unlikely in my specific case.

Seriously guys, be patient for a PC release. And Rockstar don't honestly owe you favoours, they aren't your friends or relatives, they're a business and will operate as they wish to ensure the most profit.

Dude, the problem is they did fix sh*t. People are still getting some errors like bugs or glitch, this 1.03 patch won't be neither near the final one. I'm hoping for it, but actually a PC version announce along with GTA online today's fix makes no sense at all...

SP crashed Social Club to, the game heavily relies on it to track stats and all sorts of small things as well as things like snapmatic, etc, even before Online was active, the Social Club was a nice error zone as it struggled to keep up with the demand.

 

And yeah, it's kinda Rockstar's fault for going so cloud and connected heavy here. But with the servers always being pushed right now, do you really think adding an extra million PC gamers on top is going to help?

yep, of course when even mentioning GTAO and PC version, you'll get the remark that Rockstar has different teams, and that it doesn't influence any release plans for the PC version, at least on this thread.

 

The wish for a release here is so high that any reasons why R* isn't keen on releasing yet another platform in this mess that is called GTAO is being explained away with irrelevant reasons.

 

Some would than even suggest they launch the PC version without online, as if that would be in R*' s interest, when it quite clearly would make them look utter silly.

Announcing it for nov. Would make sure, they have plenty of time, to make sure SC won't crash again.

And then let them take another few weeks, to get all the server ready for online aswell. SC ain't that server heavy, they probably fcked that up because they were trying to fix all the stuff for online.

I never stated I wouldn't. I only established that it would not be my priority.

 

I love that "they don't owe you anything" "They're a business" speech, though. I have heard it so many times before from people who are convinced that the entire approach of "WE ARE NOT HUMAN BEINGS, WE ARE PROFIT MACHINES THAT ONLY DESIRE YOUR MONEY" is actually supposed to be acceptable.

 

In my opinion, it is not and should not be. But my opinion is irrelevant and will be inevitably flagged as; "You don't know jack sh*t about the real world and business, kid. Grow up".

 

I'm actually thankful I don't know much about the wonderful and prosperous world of business. So I guess I favor ignorance in this case.

I've redesigned the Make GTA V For PC Paintjob for the Subaru Impreza.I added Games For Windows on the spoiler,Windows 8 logo on the right side,Social Club on the back.I've also updated the racing stripes and writing so it will look better.

 

If you don't know about this,I used the ability to add paintjobs to a car mod.I used Photoshop to edit this.It has Make GTA V On PC on the left and PC Rulez Ok on the right.It has racing stripes that matches the colour of the V logo and also Windows 8,Games For Windows,Social Club,Rockstar Games and GTA 4 logos
