PC Version of GTA V Discussion

This could be it. They would only show something that we have never seen before if it wasn't already released. GTA V is out, GTA Online is out, so yeah, what would they show people there? I mean, many people are expecting announcement later, so this could be some sort of surprise, you know... PC and next-gen announcement with some kind of HD gameplay or something. Then release it after 1 or 2 months. I don't think they want to show Agent, because GTA V was just released, so they still need to concentrate on GTA V - fix things n sh*t. I am thinking only of GTA V to be shown there. Few days after GTA Online seems legit to me, then Rockstar could also regain their respect from PC gamers.

 

As much as I'd like to see GTA 5 for PC on FirstLook, I think this is just gonna be about GTA Online

To be honest, I highly doubt it would be GTA Online. Look at all the problems people are facing now.

Because it's already released, so after a few days there won't be to show anything "exclusive", BUT what's in the way for Rockstar to announce next-gen and PC versions of the game? The game is released fully - now only help people, fix bugs n sh*t, so they have spare time. GTA V is on top with sales, so what could be better? Rockstar actually promised that they will release their main titles for PC not 6 months after consoles. Something like 2 months seems reasonable to me. They have time to promote PC and next-gen versions of the game. Then GTA V could be a launch title for PS4 and Xbox One - more money - and then release PC version together with next-gen consoles version. Just the same thing Ubisoft is doing - releasing Watch Dogs and ACIV Black Flag for PC/PS4/XOne at the same time. So, Rockstar could blow them off with GTA V PC/PS4/XOne versions of the game. At the same time they would keep their promise for PC players, because if they want really to close gap, then releasing it after 4 or 5 months won't do the trick, while 2 months would be very very good.

Firstlook is about playing games for the first time, not really about exclusive announcements. But yes this is possible.

Don't think so. They will start with those DLC's when they finish the basics.(other releases like PC, fixes and stuff like that)

@offtopic Not sure if anyone has written this yet, AC IV has been delayed for PC and Next Gen to be released on the 21 November, just as Watch Dogs. Wouldn't it be an amazing contest with GTA V PC at the same time?

Would love to see that contest. IF GTA doesn't release in nov. im getting watchdogs.

EDIT: when GTA releases in NOV, I will still get watchdogs. But allot later when its on sale or something.

wont connect to social club (same as in V release)... So Im just playing civ V and getting a lot of money to nuke cities in future

Releasing GTA V for PC at the same time as the next gen consoles will be an opportunity for R* as it will earn alot of rubles/$$$$. That better be true as the caliber of the next gen consoles will almost be like PC.

There IS a download. A friend showed it quick to me as well. Not played it myself yet though. He doesn't own a console.

 

Also, I do not really want to wait because I do not support RG' way of announcing and releasing their games. I would really like to wait for the official version, but I'm not sure if I can take it anymore. And until it comes out for pc, I would've lost all my hype and wouldn't even bother buying it.

 

The same with iFruit for android. Not telling anything except 'coming soon'. I'm getting really tired of all this bullsh*t. I could've accepted it if they explained their selves with an proper excuse. But not this way. Hell no.

They released Bully one month after announcing it for PC. This shows that they can do that again. Why not?

 

Yes, I wouldn't expect them to do it in a few weeks. But a month is easily done for them, as shown in the past.
