PC Version of GTA V Discussion

Wow, console gamers having a lot of problems with GTA:O. Stuck on loading screen, no players, bad textures.

 

PC is where the real deal is lads.

 

Edit: There is now no way the cannot be without releasing it on PC. With all the bugs the console version has got.

They give their middle finger to both android users and pc gamers. Oh well. Gonna download for my pc if no announcement is made until 10th. Then never buy the full game because of this, unless they had a really good reason for this sh*t.

And the worst thing - Rockstar can't fix it just when they want, because updates for consoles comes only on Tuesdays and Thursdays, while on Steam you can update (if you are a developer) whenever you want to.

And yeah, no way this will be only for X360 and PS3. No way. Real game is in PC and next-gen versions of the game. And no way they want to release it only for X360 and PS3 at the end of this console generation No way GTA Online gonna last for years (like Rockstar said that they want GTA Online to last for years, they could release new content n sh*t) on X360 and PS3. How can it last so long if after 1 month next-gen consoles will be released? Seeing so many problems console players had/having with GTA Online and GTA V makes me feel better about a PC version. PC version is much more easier to fix, repair and release new content and players are much more comfortable with Steam.

Well that's because it's Dutch. But do you remember how the PC version of GTA IV was announced and then being shown on Game Convention 2008?

I think the same might happen, because Europe is more of a fan of PC gaming than console gaming.

Firstlook is a pretty small event I think, and I cant remember the last time anything big was announced at it.

So I don't think they will do it there. Can be completely wrong tho.

 

EDIT: sorry read it wrong. What u said could actually happen, but then they have to announce it this week. Which seems a bit soon(if they don't announce it today with GTAO).

Translate: GTA 5, will already have been released, when firstlook opens its doors this weekend. But there will be allot that is going to happen, with this title in the future. In Utrecht(city) u will see what.

BTW, firstlook is made for people to see new stuff from games and mainly to play them for the first time. Not to announce games or anything like that. Showing of the PC version would be nice tho.

Sure about the Participants and Exhibitors, can they be used interchangeably?

This could be it. They would only show something that we have never seen before if it wasn't already released. GTA V is out, GTA Online is out, so yeah, what would they show people there? I mean, many people are expecting announcement later, so this could be some sort of surprise, you know... PC and next-gen announcement with some kind of HD gameplay or something. Then release it after 1 or 2 months. I don't think they want to show Agent, because GTA V was just released, so they still need to concentrate on GTA V - fix things n sh*t. I am thinking only of GTA V to be shown there. Few days after GTA Online seems legit to me, then Rockstar could also regain their respect from PC gamers.

Sure about the Participants and Exhibitors, can they be used interchangeably?

 

No not really, Participant is someone that is there. So might have provided some hardware or something like that. Maybe even a show in the theater(announcement of R* for example ) Exhibitors are the companies that have a stand, and most of em will let u play the games they brought with them. hopefully that made it clear enough
