Those stupid lollipopsuckers at R* are liars! They haven't closed the gap between PC and cunsols release!

les, the iFruit app and social club files,.and more recently the MTA developers conversation.

Spring 2014? Yep, as what I thought about those sissy sh*tty pigs. Just the same pattern: 7-8 months.

 

 

No, no. Nothing has been confirmed nor discredited at this point. It's just that a few online retailers have listed Spring 2014 as possible release dates for GTA V. It really doesn't mean much.

It's getting all the more painful to wait as the hour passes by.. I REALLY hope to see announcement of the pc version by the end of the next 1 week. Else,I dont think they'll be able to capitalize on November sales&this cannibalize WD/etc sales.

I am quite excited for the PC version. I own all 3 consoles and only bought it for Xbox with the thought it would be better on Xbox then PS3. Haven't heard anything pointing to that being true but I will defiantly be buying it on PC. Can not wait to see the cool mods people will be able to create with the stuff already in the game.

when you are making billions, millions seem not as much but it's still money, lots of money if you ask me...

 

 

 

1 billion in just the first 3 days is far more than they ever anticipated or could have dreamed of. The milking won't last much longer. The real laughable thing here is in believing the PC version would stall any of their potential earnings at this point. The PC version wouldn't even remotely make a dent in their profit, but it would very much so add to it.

It makes zero sense to delay the PC version for any much longer past two months after the console release.

November is going to be a huge month for gaming, as it will bring in a plethora of new games as well the entering of the Holiday season. I can't see Rockstar not capitalizing on that by releasing the PC version around the same time.

 

U really can't see anything wrong with that logic, if there is a choice between PC and console, the console people will only buy console version, the PC people will definitely buy PC one, but if there is only console available, PC guys will consider buy a console version because of the hype

There will always be milk to squeze, the potential of milking will always be higher this way

 

 

If that strategy always works then why would any company release a PC version the same time as console? Rockstar and Max Payne 3...

 

that's when the benefit of the doubt comes in, if everything has the same pattern, PC people will always wait and not buy a console version, u gotta choose what game would have the best impact on (GTA was clearly a good choice since it will make good money, but MP or any other games for that matters, the effect would be too small to notice)

Yeah, just look at GTA IV on steam. It has been among the most played games for a long time now. As you can see though, treating customers like this is just retarded. Most of us are growing tired of these high school games Rockstar is playing.

Have they decided to release GTAO information today to separate it from a PC announcement tomorrow? Doubtful, I would say. But let's see, maybe they'll surprise us.

If you 'lose interest' because of 'spoilers' you only have yourself to blame for coming here and reading them.

It's a self fulfiling prophecy. They release the PC version so late and blame poor sales of a six month old game with outdated graphics and spoiled storyline on 'piracy' or whatever.

Rockstar just keeps digging a deeper hole, really. The consumer has nothing to lose, ultimately. People will move onto other games. They will be very sad and disappointed, but they will move on. It just happens, lol.

 

It's only Rockstar's loss right now. Both in terms of profits and "bridging the gap" with PC gamers.

It might be possible that they learned of our discoveries and covered their tracks, though. However, this would be even better news, because it means they do have something to hide.

Hhahaha the only reason you say that cause you are angry and missing out, me and my friends all wnated the pc version, but since no announcement came we brought it for ps3, when it come we will buy it again, meaning R* is doing it well(moeny wise) there will be MNAY others like me cause w wil want to play it on pc online. Wehn it comes it wil hit big again, ppl wont move on, those who didnt play it yet will buy it hands down, especially if online is good cause than piracy wlll be lower.

 

I hate the lack of pc version, but we cant help it, consoles sell better at this point, and make more money with editions and retailers deals, pc also is much more problematic, both because of rampant piracy(i know it dose not hurt sales as much as they claim cuase most pirated games are not ppl who could buy the game) and optimalisation.

Sounds like you were just impatient and wanted the easy way out. Good for you for playing the game. I'm glad you had fun. But you supported a pretty sh*t practice in the process. Though I guess you shouldn't care, right? You got your game and that's that.

Funny coming from me after that post, Isn't it? Yeah, no. Personally, I'm just waiting for the announcement. What happens after that I couldn't care less about. Because once I have that date set in my mind i can rest easy and proceed to wait with patience of solid stone.

 

I'll be bitchy, just like everyone else, if the release date is far in the ass-crack of 2014. But I'll get over it and I'll start noticing the wait getting shorter and shorter. And before I know it, It's on the new releases on Steam.

You're right,people say and speculate things that raise the anticipation for a very near PC info announcement,then we get nothing and disappointed.
