Lol, are some of you PC fanboys mad? Pedestrians are linked with the DAY/NIGHT time cycle. Do you NOT understand? That is exactly how it's going to be on PC too. I've even seen some of the leaks, although not too much, but there is LOTS of ped at different times.

Why do they have to be such schmucks?! Why do I have to wait until April or May to play it on my PC??

Well I personally expect it to be released before April 2014, most likely early or mid-March.

I've watched a stream that went through the day night cycle - and the city was empty during the day. Console sucks, we know this, which is why the smart people are waiting for PC.

Trust me they are not true skeptics, they just bend things to fit their agenda.

As an amatuer astronomer, I often deal with them, you can not only give them facts, but teach them how to check them, and they will stil, time after time, refuse to reason with them.

 

 

Then you're a conspiracy theorist. Brian has provided ample proof that the screenshots were taken on a PC version of the game and now with the streams and images, the evidence only gets stronger.

Bringing such a tone to an argument is infantile.

 

I am, trust me, very cold headed about this, as there is no stake in it for me.

If it does not come to PC, fine, I will live to smile another day.

While I do think it is stupid to exclude a large group of people from a positive experience, I am not all that bothered.

 

Now to the point.

While I have not acquainted myself with any of the issues (or lack of) with pedestrians, I do think the game does look inferior to the in-game screenshots, and I also think the LOD on far objects is very bad.

 

I hope you have fun playing it enough for the both of us. :)

Just checking on how my fellow gamers on the PC side of things are coping with all this gush of GTA V info that getting everyone crazily excited.

 

You should at least borrow a console just to play this game when it comes out.

 

I really don't know you guys are gonna cope, I'm so excited like I'm about to burst, Tuesday cannot come soon enough !!

.. Apparentley ArmA III officially launched the other day but I didn't even notice. There was no difference between it and the late beta other than the fact that it is now "version 1.0"

 

So that one was kind of a bust, But who gives a sh*t, theres only like 3 days to kill now.

I'd say Rome II and ArmA III did their jobs well, and I'll play them again in a week or two after I'm satisfied with Grand theft Auto.

So you really gonna wait 6-8 months for the game to come out on PC? I don't see it happen. You'll bump on some information anyway, you won't make it. Isn't it better to get a job and buy used console and then used game month after the release? Consoles'/games' prices in US are ridiculous to what I have to pay for it in my country. I'm really impressed, lol.

 

 

i said it before in this thread. used market is dead in my country, amazon does not ship PS3 or xbox360 to my country, ebay shipping is 200USD and the PS3 or xbox 360 price never drop in shops.

That sucks, mate. And I thought prices in my country are high (a lot higher than in USA and other European countries). I hope GTA V comes to PC so you can enjoy it in the future. :)

I'm not sure if you know what a conspiracy theorist is, one way or another, ad hominems will not help your cause.

Nothing short of a publication made from Rockstar is absolute proof.

It's kind of hard to sympathise with pc gamers when their every post is so imperialistic.

You are trying to apply a stereotype to a large group of people without second though.

 

It is not about PC gamers, or console gamers, it is about the fact that, unfortunately, a big part of this forums userbase are teenage boys, who think the best things since sliced bread are: Trolling, replying with tl;dr, flaming and responding with gifs (having said that, I appreciate a good gif).

 

People are frustrated, take a look at me for instance, I am maintaining a cool head simply because that is in my nature, but lately I have been working very hard, day in and day out I am at it with a calculator, pen and and really long formulas that would make most people chuckle because they look like gibberish.

 

After a dayful of that, I feel a little bit of a need to vent-out, and I can't go and have a drink, because that will take me away from my work too long, I also can't do motorcycle projects because I get very involved in them and lose track of time, so you know, a good game, one that is a part of a franchise that I am a big fan of, would come in hand.

 

So ofcourse when people feel like they are getting left behin for no good reason, they get a bit agitated, rant, which in turn gets rude replies, and turns into a flame war.

Then harsh words fly around, some of which are repeated, and a stereotype is born...

 

Trust me, if console gamers found themselves in the same situation, the same thing would occur.

I have nothing against PC gamers. Never Have. I have never contended that consoles are better than PC's nor has any other console gamer. Facts are facts. The PC are higher tech and higher performance. That's a given.

 

Aside from trolls, I have yet to meet a legitimate console gamer who posts about how superior the consoles are to PC. It just doesn't happen. However there are many serious PC gamers who in all seriousness write out long over drawn summaries and essays on why the consoles suck. They are entitled to that opinion of course.

 

I'm pretty sure if the shoe was on the other foot I and many other console gamers would be disappointed and complain. However I doubt we would spend time berating PC gamers.

i saw video on daylight and night.no difference there are only 4 or 5 people u can see..

I watched videos too and I can say that city is not dead. There are enough people and cars (assuming that consoles can't really handle many pedestrians and cars in the same place). That day/night cycle works too. At first I thought that city is dead too, but now it's clear for me that it's not dead. Expect way more cars and pedestrians (which means a bigger living world) for PC and next-gen consoles. On PC, I bet, we will be able to adjust traffic and pedestrians shouldn't be a problem.

I am very happy that GTA V is very good from what people are saying and might be one of the best games ever made. GTA V is really successful. Now we wait for PC.

So yeah, the PC version is weeks/ months away I'm 100% sure, and the rush of the retailers proves that.

Yeah, I use your post all the time :)

And yeah, if this would be a fake, then Rockstar would remove it. It's still there, so guess what. And also that Gamesonly shop - they leaked CE and SE editions first and it was genuine. They also got GTA V for PC as a pre-order (you can pre-order it whenever you want). These can't be fakes. If this would be fake then Rockstar would have been already deleted it, but they didn't. Everyone, who has common sense knows that GTA V for PC is coming.

 

And yeah, these could be fakes, but then you look at their ratings - they couldn't afford to list fakes. This also confirms Steam release.

 

Now just keep calm and wait

Wait the estimated delivery date is interesting. Does this mean Steam version would be the first PC version followed by the Retail ?If so this might be the first time I will buy a PC game digitally.
