That's that sh*t man. That snake sh*t. Showing lots of traffic in vids and tv show leaks and stuff, but the traffic is non existent on the launch version

 

"Max traffic/peds" = gameplay = pc ain't just about graphics.

I just saw one called "guys gta v damage" or something like that (i am hawking reddit's gta5leak section), guy drove off the highway, it was so many high way roads, just empty

 

I know, it's okay, it's expected by me sure, I knew they could not do much more cars or peds than they did in IV, but for a lot of people, they are going to be shocked.

 

The people who thought that "cops: ls" leak was the real traffic, or even the gameplay videos were real - when in reality, it's typical low settings. That traffic and peds count in screens and vids = pc only feature. Just like IV.

out of your mind or in denial. It does not take mods to change traffic in IV on PC.

 

This is vanilla iv on PC, no mods. Just "options" (it's a menu that lets you change stuff)

 

 

 

if you look at the vid of "cops: ls" (cant share it here) you see traffic like that vid. But look at all the leaks, you see nothing of the sort.

The first clip of that video has more traffic than V, yes, but if you skip to around 2:15, the bit where the Patriot is sailing down the middle of the bridge, the leaked gameplay videos had around that much traffic.

lol no they didn't. not even close. and that was at like 3 am, that's low amount of traffic for that area at that time of day - the middle-of-the-day footage from V should be far more busy, like the rush hour scenes in the IV vid.

 

it's time of day that gives you the false belief it's anywhere near that on console V, cause it's not. It's the same as IV, the hardware is the same, they can't just magically make it support more dynamic objects without compromising something else.

The thing is, the amount of traffic in that first clip of your GTA IV video would be just sh*t for gameplay. Whether it's down to console limitations or not, it's more fun weaving in and out of mild-but-still-sorta busy traffic than constantly having to drive down the middle clipping a traffic jam.

That's subjective, for starters. I prefer maxed traffic and play fine with it, it's enjoyable for me, but that's subjective too.

 

You have the *option* of turning it down if you need to - but on console, you just get what you get. And it isn't much, as we now see.

 

Valid point: Videos and screens lied to current gen gamers.

 

I do see nice density on the highways that are out in the sticks, but the places that should be most busy - the highway IN the city - is too dead. Only traffic will be out in the boonies.

I've seen more now - it is definitely sufficient.

 

Better thought in the population.

 

PC version crowd on that beach is gonna be insane.

 

But the game is sufficient to say the very least. And the cars drive pretty realistically in traffic, faster, smoother than in the past, they have achieved a much smoother more steady framerate, and I am all the more stoked when I see the current gen version of that game, and combine that with the performance of Max Payne 3's iteration of RAGE on the PC.

I've only seen one clip of a car crashing.

 

I don't like the vehicle damage in comparison to IVs.

 

f*cking up your nice car was something to keep you in check from driving recklessly, I don't want to run into a Semi and just lose a bumper and break my taillights

I am and always will be a PC gamer. However, just like when Vice City came out and I bought a PS2 just to play it. I have once again got a console to play V. Once (if) PC comes out, the missus can have the xbox to play fable.

I have seen heavy traffic then very low but if people will complain about low traffic R* will say some crap like " oh the world is big and full "

also,,,,, there is no grass its just a texture like this flat on the ground

 

 

 

the only 3D models of plant life I have seen are in flowers,trees, and bushes.. but even I seen pop ups of bushes

 

bushes that are not even that far away

 

even some other ground textures are just flat... its looks so f*ckin weird in daylight

As a PC gamer I am happy to wait for PC version. Just hope they optimise it properly

Will not be buying a console just for this - Would be a waste of money I could spend on a 2nd GTX 770 for the PC

LiveLeak removed it? Damn didn't know they also removing videos. Well from last couple of featured videos I can say that they gone soft/stupid.

Now this article could just be written by a caring about console journalist but, there's no mention of PC release here. Does this mean we have to wait out the next gen uptake to? On the flipside if we do get a similar release date we will definitely be playing it come Christmas.

But yea, this means likely that since GTA V was listed long before the PC version was before each vanished before the release date was announced, now this one comes up - it tells me likely that PC version comes much sooner than nexgen version for the obvious reason that they were listed so far apart

Amazon got GTA V for PC too. If this would be fake then it would be deleted, simply because Rockstar can't afford false information
