500 days means more than a year, try maybe 200-250 days (around 7-8 months)

We can say things like consoles with their ancient hardware and are too inferior and cheap low life level crap hardware,

Don't you see a pattern here? Well, I do, I wasn't even surprised when the PC version wasn't mentioned on the initial announcement, they are doing it every single time, I'm sure there's something more to it than just the 'console versions sale more copies' thing

I read once that there's an agreement to a cooldown period of 6 months between console and PC releases, that was back in the PS2 era, and maybe it is the case now, I know it sounds like a dumb conspiracy theory made up by a 14 year-old, but think about it...

My prediction is that a PC version will be announced around December 2013 - January 2014 and it will be released around April - May 2014

I'm damn sick of their scheme, they're getting away with it this gen, but if next-gen Rockstar are pulling the same sh*t, it is obvious that they are some money-whores and I will NEVER, EVER, buy products from them AGAIN.

The screenshots, however, those speak a different story - those speak the 5 years leap since IV - the gameplay videos do not. The gameplay videos are your "low to medium". The screenshots have things in them these console gamers aren't even aware exists, so we cannot expect them to even begin to understand, no matter how carefully it's explained, they will not understand until they play games with these features, until they see it explained - until developers are there saying "Here is what you get if you get the game on 360, and here is what you get if you get it on XB1" - then they will see the difference.

The iFruit, the name of the mobile phone of GTA V, can be used to take pictures and upload them to the Social Club.

This feature is gonna make a comparison with the R* screenshots very easy. We already knew it was possible to take pictures of customized cars but this preview says you can take pictures whenever you want. I wish you were right, but I really doubt it.

 

All this "consoles first and PC later" is not due to developing and programming issues or whatever, it's directly related to exclusivity contracts with the platforms. They have signed a contract with Sony and Microsoft to launch the games first in their consoles, and later in other platforms. It's always been around 6 to 8 months, and it will be the same now.

 

Even though I wish, Max Payne 3's case is not going to be repeated with GTAV, since Max Payne is not the GTA franchise.

Because it seems really more and more that for a long time at least or not at all the game is coming out on PC, im not that interested in it anymore. Im now more looking forward to the 9th season of how i met your mother.

They can't seriously expect GTA Online to take off if it's 6 months late, all the initial wave of DLC packs for it will be 'old' which means players won't be so inclined to impulse buy it. No doubt they'll also want the PC crowd to pay the same amount for that content to right?

 

It'll be a massive marketing screw up by Rockstar if true.

I don't think it's a console fetish. And this isn't 2004 anymore, More often than not, studios dont take bribes from Console companies, even more so because the companies have become a joke with so many internal security leaks and such

 

I think it's just laziness and incompetence. plain and simple,

 

How many of Rockstar North and Rockstar NYC's PC games were actually done by them? zero. they're always outsourced to other studios

Me neither. It will just be 8 months again, if worst, then even more...

May or June. Not this year, only a desperate man will think GTAV will be released for PC this year.

It's impossible, not in the universe of R*. Otherwise the univerese will implode and we all go back to apes playing our own GTA.
