Autumn Sunshine

Updated edition

Autumn Sunshine is a global modification for GTA: San Andreas, dedicated to disturbing and enchanting autumn season.

 

In mod you can see dynamic falling leaves, and already fallen leaves on the pavement and grass: in squares, forest, on the roads... You can see autumn trees yellow, orange, red and, sometimes, still green, as always in warm autumn. Fog in the morning and in the evening. Special atmosphere sounds: cawing of crows in the morning and, sometimes, subtle rustling of the wind...

 

Also in mod is using ENBSeries graphic library that is specially configured for mod (using of palette makes the image more pleasing); with special menu users can easily configure graphic for their computer.

 

Mod, as it was said, have a lot of gameplay features: wild animals in nature (this feature came to mod from mods-precursors Spring Season and Endless Summer but have been improved and expanded; for example, in autumn mod was added a new animal the coyote, you can find it in the desert; also you can meet two species of wolves, two species of bears, foxes; you can see your friends hunters with their dog and near the farms you can see chickens and roosters); hunting; ability to buy Hunter's House... In the Angel Pine village you can visit the exhibition of biggest vegetables in the state.

 

Autumn for many people also associated with Halloween. Residents of the state are preparing for this holiday and arrange pumpkins and other festive decorations near their homes. You can dress in Halloween costume and when it considers that it is time to start the holiday, you can set the costumes for residents.

 

And these not all features of the mod.

 

Autumn Sunshine offers a wealth of innovations related to the autumn season, and you can spend a lot of wonderful moments with this beautiful mod.

Autumn Sunshine will be released in updated edition

Autumn Sunshine, a global modification for GTA: San Andreas dedicated to the autumn time, soon will be released on Mod DB in updated edition.

What is Autumn Sunshine?

This is a massive and modern modification for GTA: San Andreas dedicated to disturbing and enchanting autumn season. Mod continues The Seasons mods series, which includes also Spring Season, Endless Summer and Winter Vacation.

List of changes is huge. This is and visual changes that make game more beautiful, and new opportunities in gameplay.

In mod you can see dynamic falling leaves, and already fallen leaves on the pavement and grass: in squares, forest, on the roads... You can see autumn trees — yellow, orange, red and, sometimes, still green, as always in warm autumn. Fog in the morning and in the evening. About original version and updated version

The release of updated version of mod was delayed many times; initially mod could be released in October or November, but, as is often in me case, the desire to do everything in the best way prolonged the work. However, original Autumn Sunshine was not also released in autumn, as Endless Summer originally was not released in summer.

Original Autumn Sunshine was released 12 December 2011.

In 2013 I have decided to do updated and improved version special for release on Mod DB. Everything was started for new English translation, but, were eventually improved many nuances (about these you will know later).

Let me remind you, that (almost) all The Seasons mods were released in updated versions on Mod DB. Spring Season 2.0, the spring modification, have little updated version with some fixes. Endless Summer was updated very much: graphics and other things are better now, mod is more beautiful and faster.

Updated version of Autumn Sunshine also will make this mod better and more beautiful. Wait for release, if you like the mod, and thanks for your attention. Edited March 13, 2014 by flame1251

Cut from mod by technical reasons piles of leaves in Verdant Bluffs observatory. I have post this image just as "addition material", really in mod will be many-many interesting things. Soon updated edition will be released.

Autumn Sunshine: SA-MP Edition (updated version) screenshots

These are screenshots from updated version of Autumn Sunshine: SA-MP Edition.

As with previous updated Endless Summer mod, Autumn Sunshine also will be fully updated - and main version (for single-player), and special version for SA-MP mod. And SA-MP Edition, and main mod will be released same time and very soon, but now I post screenshots from this variant of mod. Now I'd like to refrain from listing the changes, but they are seen on some screenshots.



















In main version graphics is better, also main mod has a lot of interesting features and more other.

Read about updated edition you can above. I this post I want to show you few screenshots collections from the mod almost without describing of features, because about all them you will read in news, dedicated to release.

Forest and nature

Graphically component of mod was really reworked, autumn nature now beautiful as never before; believe me this is the most beautiful autumn mod for the game. (By the way, included Project Oblivion mod was totally modified, in updated version of Autumn Sunshine was added MIP mapping on the all trees textures).

Peds in Halloween costumes

San Andreas state is preparing to celebrate Halloween, because there is autumn in the game. And you will decide, when celebrate. When you decide that it is time to holiday, people in the state dress up to the scary costumes.

In original Autumn Sunshine costumes installed separately, as addition, after mod. But with help of unique realization in updated Autumn Sunshine user can change costumes just by pressing the button in special menu.

Menus

Bellow you can see menu for changing peds and modified graphic settings menu.

Another unique feature of the mod (inherent to all mods from «The Seasons» series) is a powerful optimization and flexibility: with a special ENBSelector menu you can pick the optimal parameters, change a lot of settings and game will work on any computer.

In updated version of the mod was added (also unique) function of changing textures quality almost «on the fly»: you can select in menu low quality of textures, and after game restart, game will use low resolution textures instead of HD-textures. If game works slow or closes in places with new objects or textures, this will help you. And conversely: with one click a button you can return the high quality textures.

Autumn Sunshine mod was released today in updated edition. This is really global modification for GTA: San Andreas with unprecedented approach to the quality; is the successor of Endless Summer; modification about beautiful time of year autumn.

And it was released in spring, yes. Originally Autumn Sunshine was released in December 2011 after Endless Summer. After two years, in 2013, I decided to update all The Seasons mods: earlier was released (little) updated Spring Season mod, during summer and autumn 2013 was released updated Endless Summer mod (base mod, all its updates, Full Edition and version for SA-MP). Updated edition of Endless Summer turned out really huge and now Autumn Sunshine also got a lot of improvements; work on the updated edition has been done so giant that its even could be called as new version.

I am glad to present you release trailer of the mod.

What brings Autumn Sunshine to GTA: San Andreas?

Whole game will look autumnally! Location was retextured and changed: totally new textures of countryside, Angel Pine, Chiliad mount, Bayside town, El-Quebrados, Fern Ridge, beach in Los Santos, some parks, a lot of roads and different surfaces in cities and other; textures are exclusive for this mod and were made with an accent to the autumn time: grass is other now and there are many on grass and pavement, roads fallen leaves.

Most of textures are photorealistic and based on the author's photos; using textures from HRT 1.4 project of full remastered GTA: San Andreas that in the development now (most likely HRT 1.4, when it released, will be fully compatible with Autumn Sunshine; now Autumn Sunshine has compatibility with old-gen HRT Pack 1.3: Enhanced Edition).

Beatific decoration of the mod are autumn trees with yellow, orange, reddish, and sometimes almost green (as always happens in nature) leaves. Trees are based on heavy modified Project Oblivion 2010HQ mod (in updated edition on trees were added MIP maps this means that they look smoothed and its textures do not flicker).

A lot of new objects on location: Hunter's House in the forest (originally first appeared in the Spring Season, in every The Seasons mod it was seriously refined and improved, and in the updated autumn edition it was seriously improved again: now it has windows; were used new materials for model of the house, with help of them roof now is sprinkled with leaves); abandoned well it has its own history; windmill on the hill beyond the forest; pavilion behind the CJ's house in Angel Pine (you can seat there)... In Angel Pine an exhibition of vegetables is held this autumn. Good chance to look at the giant pumpkins!

In Pershing park now you can see detailed voluminous piles of fallen leaves (this feature was added in updated edition).

Were made a lot of changes, connected with oncoming on the state Halloween: near the houses were installed pumpkins, added holiday billboards and pictures with Halloween symbolic; in countryside near the houses some people cultivated the pumpkins.

Not only CJ (he can wear special new Halloween costume or one of accessory from new wardrobe), but also peds on the streets can be in Halloween costumes. When you considers that it is time to start the holiday: you can, with using of special menu, enable of disable costumes for state residents! This is a really unique feature that made special for updated edition.

Modification continues the tradition of Spring Season and Endless Summer and allows you go hunting! You meet wolves, bears, foxes in forests and coyotes in desert. (If you do not like hunting — you can just watch for animals but note that almost all of them are extremely dangerous!). You also can hunt with your friends hunters and their dog.

A lot of graphic changes: flying leaves feature; new day-night (timecyc) parameters, improved particle effects; included ENBSeries library with special settings that stylized picture to the autumn colors.

Special for Autumn Sunshine was created graphic settings menu. With this menu user can configure mod for good performance on any computer and change one of graphic presets. In updated version of Autumn Sunshine user can select even quality of textures! This is unique feature of this mod, that never was made in other mods.

Added atmosphere sounds of autumn nature: you can hear birds singing; cawing of crows in the morning and, sometimes, subtle rustling of the wind...

Also: there are several new types of clothing, new weapons hunter's knife, hunter's rifle and wooden stick, new girls models, some new pedestrians; you can install the tent and sleep there; you can buy the house in Bayside; you can see people sitting around a bonfires in different parts of state; drink in bar on Santa Maria beach; ride in the Ferris Wheel; people will walking in the rain with umbrellas; at several points in the state you'll find pens with chickens and roosters and will hear a roosters scream...

Besides those already mentioned things, in updated edition of Autumn Sunshine were made: pavilion is also sprinkled with leaves; remade a lot of forest and countryside texture; remade observatory textures; added MIP-maps on absolutely all textures in the mod, this optimization helps to improve performance and makes the graphics more pleasant; fixed some glitches; made compatibility with Windows Vista, 7, 8 and new English translation, and a lot of other little changes. (You can read full list of changes in ReadMe).

The whole mod was revised and «collected» anew, now mod is better: more stable, more interesting and more beautiful!

This is mod, on which I spent a lot of my free time. For me very necessary that you, all users, evaluated it. Chiliad mountain was retextured for updated edition of Autumn Sunshine mod (textures migrated from updated edition of Endless Summer and were changed). In this video you can see some landscapes. (At night there is little scared, maybe because of new sounds of nature!).

Hunter’s House

Hunter’s House in forest is well familiar for players in The Seasons mods (Spring Season, Endless Summer, Autumn Sunshine, Winter Vacation). Originally first appeared in the Spring Season, in every The Seasons mod it was seriously refined and improved; in Endless Summer, for example, was added attic.

Now, in updated edition of Autumn Sunshine, this house was improved again: house have windows (CJ and hunters are preparing for the cool), whole look of house is better now.

In Autumn Sunshine mod is new wardrobe; room where CJ can change clothes (and in Autumn Sunshine adding in the game a lot of new clothes) now looks differently, there player can find new cupboard with masquerade clothes to Halloween like mask of burglar, comical glasses etc.

There is very warm autumn in the mod. CJ, as in Endless Summer, can drink in new bar (but now you can not see a lot of visitors, as early in summer, and there are not parties); Carl still can ride in the Ferris Wheel (for these he must buy a ticket).... New decorations say us that Halloween soon. Leaves fell on the sand and grass.

Hunting

The Seasons mods — are first mods where you can see really quality animals. They not replace peds (as in another mods) and added as new creatures to the game, that have own sounds and located believable as in the true nature! In each The Seasons mods number of animals is increased and in Autumn Sunshine reached its apogee.

In Autumn Sunshine you can meet: two species of wolves, bears, black bears, foxes and coyotes! (And also chickens and roosters near the farms — but about these animals see another video — and dog, with which hunters are walking).

In this video shown animals and hunting (yes, this mod can be as hunting simulator). You can go hunt with new hunter's riffle and hunters.

(Also in this video you can see caves that were added with included (and modified) Project Oblivion mod; some things in Endless Summer were connected with caves, and you can stumble across the lair of wolves there).

Countryside

Angel Pine. Pumpkins near the houses. Exhibition of vegetables. Chickens. Pavilion. Farms. Fields

Countryside was changed a lot in Autumn Sunshine. This is a mod not about gray and rainy autumn, but about bright and sunny, golden autumn when the weather is warm and you want to enjoy it. In this video you can see: a lot of nature landscapes; chickens near the farms; beautiful fields, because autumn — is the harvesting time; pavilion, where you can sit and relax; and hear sound of nature sounds.

This is last video from updated edition of Autumn Sunshine (at least, at his moment). Mod was released two month ago, initially it could be released in autumn 2013... It was cool and difficult work, but now (sometimes I think, that this is my favorite The Seasons mod) mod is really better as never.

I hope, the players will remember and download this mod in autumn, playing their favorite game, or at any other time of year.

Anyway, did you consider turning your season mods to total conversions other than roads, vegetation,....etc?
