Xx-ADITYA-xX Posted October 21, 2012 Share Posted October 21, 2012 Wouldn't it be sweet if the game were to feature a camera feature in the player's phone or a separate digital camera which can take snapshots in-game which can be exported to the console's hard drive. I also thought about a video-recording feature for the consoles which lets you take videos in-game to export to your hard drive or to upload on YouTube. I don't understand why R* decided to have a phone in IV which only worked as a camera in certain missions. GTA V, especially the countryside, should offer some beautiful scenery. I would love pretending to be an expert photographer, and take artistic photos, just as I did in SA. Hopefully this will be both for PC and consoles. I loved driving around and just taking pictures on the beautiful countryside and a lot of random stuff in San Andreas. Had over 1000 pictures stored att my PS2 memorycard! Really hope that we get a camera in V! Its not difficult to create a photo feature for Rockstar, and it gives a lot of new ways for us gamers to use our creativity. It would be really cool if we were able to actually save the pictures we took with either a digital camera or a phone camera, maybe they could be automatically uploaded to an album in your R* Social Club profile. Or better yet they take a poke at Youtube and let you upload videos and view the ones other people have uploaded. With the ingame footage you capture from your smartphone, you could directly upload them to, well whatever they choose. Not JUST that, but you could record audio videos and upload pictures to a faux social network or such. of course this would all only be available with either NPCs you meet through missions or if you have some sort of internet connection they could add a social club to which you could get regular updates from your friends about what's going on. I was really dissapointed when I couldn't save my camera photos on GTA IV. The countryside in V trailer was very detailed and looked beautiful. I'm undecided about whether to get this for my PS3 or my 360, if the camera's pictures were transferrable to USB (and then to PC, GT5 stylee) it would actually sway my decision Sony-wards! That includes the camera function of course. I really want the console players to have a video editor as well.. there would be even more awesome videos. It is technically possible on both console platforms. Midnight Club LA has a photo editor that allows you take images. The pic's should save on the harddrive so you can view them in-game, or not. I'd also like to have video capture like Just Cause 2. blowtorchrepair Posted October 23, 2012 Share Posted October 23, 2012 (edited) yes, this has been talked about before. being able to record video in multi-player games could be a lot of fun if the perspective is close up, at the camera's face, particularly when in vehicles, you could film high speed chases, drive-by's, etc. this would be different than a typical camera view replay. and if there's coop single player then you could film your buddy banging a hooker... or just make snuff films assassinating LSPD and then start a youtube channel for it... there might even be a youtube-like website in GTA V. then we could creep around the beaches and the malls looking hot women letting it all hang out, snapping creepshot pics, and then someone could create a Los Santos Creepshots website maybe? lol crews could film mock gang initiations of would-be-members beating peds and torching cars... lol We should have a several different phone models to choose from as well, and it should be possible for our character to lose a phone (perhaps as a result of a blackout from over drinking), and to have the phone stolen.
