It's like BMW gave the contract to manufacture them to the same people who make those little plastic packages that USB sticks come in. I like what they do with the exposed gear mechanism For more practicality I would probably go for the Mercedes Benz c63 or the SLS. c903jerk Posted April 28, 2014 Share Posted April 28, 2014 (edited) A dashboard from a mid 90s Toyota Previa looks kinda cool.I like how the center console is shaped. I HATE the Honda S2000,but it has a cool looking interior.The radio is completely hidden(There is a door at the center console).The car climate controls and stuff are easily accesible.And the Push To Start button is awesome.The red and black color scheme makes it great. The Mazda RX7 had a streamlined look.Alot of curves throughout the dash.The curves even continued through the doors.Alot of dials on the instrument cluster. GN 92 Posted May 1, 2014 Share Posted May 1, 2014 I like the post-2005 BMW dashboards, also Audi, Mercedes and Porsche, but these are my favorites: BMW Z4 Benz C63 AMG the only thing I think they could change is the position of the shift knob, it looks like its blocking the climate control buttons. I also like my BMW 120i dashboard, everything is simple and well built, I was shocked when I compared it to my friend's 2011 Camaro (plastic all over the place!! ): Sorry for the quality, I took the pics with my phone. I prefer an interior that slopes up to meet the bottom of the windscreen. I suppose you get used to it, but for me it really throws of my feel of the car's dimensions. My point was that the Mk1 LCR dash isn't unique.
