Are we able to drive trains this time?

I'd love for driveable trains in V. It'd be cool as hell if it were to be a minigame, where there is some degree of skill required unlike in SA where all you did was hold X and you drove along the tracks.

Maybe you can choose to follow the rails (would require some skill to drive it properly without de-railing), or just purposely de-rail entirely and drive on the streets of LS until you run out of momentum. tounge.gif

Oh god now I'm gonna be expecting driveable trains that can be de-railed for my own personal destruction-themed purposes...

Great efford on posting...

Driving trains would be really fun. I renember when I was a kid I always wanted to drive a train, so in my opinion I would be really happy if they put it

Just like the Taxi on GTA IV... you drive but you can get in the car as a passenger.

We could do it in GTA SA, but there wasn't that much fun about it. I think there's a 70% chance that we will be able to drive trains.

Be able to walk in the interior of the trains would also be a nice addition. sly.gif

Maybe we can! Red Dead Redemption had it, somehow...

Yeah you can walk through and sit on the train but you can't drive it. I think there was a mission you have to drive it out of Mexico but that's it.

I don't see why the won't let us drive it.

Sue me for having a strange fetish for trains >.>

Yep, but this time I would like to be able to switch which rail I was on unlike San Andreas.

But guys, one thing that is troubling me is that, the trains in GTA IV was not drivable. Maybe there are factors to consider?

What the hell sort of response were you expecting? We don't know. If you want us to speculate, should have said something bro.

Dont worry.

In IV there were only these subway kind of trains (el trains or whatever they are called)

Imagine a normal train(which there wasnt) in IV. Wouldnt work.

In a map with country side, desert and cities a long distance apart from each other, probably much like what we will see in V, a train fits much better.

And if there are trains, im 95% sure they will be drivable.

It would be so awesome if driving trains came back! I want improvements though, being able to choose to follow the tracks or not, and being able to go inside and ride as a passenger and walk around the interior.

Thank you. I like your response and it makes sense since it will be a huge map. icon14.gif

Fingers crossed.

We don't know if trains will be driveable this time. But all we can do for now is to hope that this happens. The more things driveable, the better the game. wink.gif

That is really a good idea for GTA to have train's driving , but why not to put it into multiplayer , that a player drive and like 11 other players to be passengers and even i want the private jet to have this too !!!

maybe even players shoot each other in the train or the other trains moving by !!

Jets too ! panic.gifpanic.gifmuppetmaster_karma.gifmuppetmaster_karma.gifrahkstar2.gifdie.gifcolgate.gifcolgate.gifcolgate.gifcolgate.gif

BlackLightning

Absolutely. It's been confirmed along with purple unicorns and edible cell phones. Perfect for when you're low on health and there's not a Burger Shot in sight.

Well, I like when you have to take care and stop at the station. I can imagine myself driving a train full of people coming from work. colgate.gif

Nothing was possible in gta IV…

Not really. It was possible to make phone calls, which wasn't possible in G.T.A. San Andreas.

And some other things.
