GTA-King Posted November 30, 2012 Share Posted November 30, 2012 If GTA VI is going to be set in Vice City, I would like for it to be set in the 70's. They haven't made a GTA set in the 70's yet... and Vice City would be the perfect place. After all, it was in the 70's when the cocaine wars actually started in Miami. Just watch the documentary Cocaine Cowboys. Also, as much as I'd like to see Manhunt 3, I just don't see it happening. On the subject of this, wouldn't it be pretty cool if R* sort of merged all the games on next-gen platforms into one big universe? I don't mean some cheap crossover like PS All Stars or whatever, just having them in R*s own satirical take on the world. So if people were discussing LA in Red Dead or Max Payne, they'd say Los Santos instead. Only thing about this is it could change a few titles since Midnight Club series is always based off real cities, but they were never street-exact so it could still work the same. Looking at job openings, you can definitely tell R* San Diego is working on a new title. If it's a new Red Dead game or a new Midnight Club I don't know. But I've heard rumours that they have canceled the Midnight Club franchise, and it wasn't very long ago that we got Red Dead Redemption. So my guess is that they might be working on a whole new IP. Since it's the only game which is actually announced, but with no news for years and the initial plans to release it in late 2010 it seems like it will be on hold for some time. The mission in SA where you infiltrate a ship was apparently inspired from a scene in the original Agent. There's screenshots of the PS2 version somewhere on the internet... Rebel Posted January 6, 2013 Share Posted January 6, 2013 I'll be looking forward to Bully 2 since the first is pure awesomeness and I loved playing it on PS2. Hell I even got it again for the Xbox 360 just to relish in the memories. I'd also love to see another Warriors game, maybe not the exact crew (although a remake on next gen consoles would be cool) but anything like that game would be really great to see. If the next-gen console out by the end of this year, then it makes sense for R* to release AGENT as a new IP in 2014, right? I've also heard that R* already preparing for next-gen engine. But R* did say that Bully 2 is something they will eventually do. So it is kind of announced. As for the 2014 game, it'll definitely be Agent. Just look at their lineup. After GTA V R* literally have nothing to put out except for Agent. @Adriaan: Those three city block screenshots? I always assumed they were from some GTA III mod until 2, maybe 3 years ago. They've recently both moved to bigger facilities and are busy hiring more people on. Something's up there. Agreed there, I was wondering why the studio in Canada has been so silent.
