It's like that: GTA 3 was supposed to be released as GTA 3 (the same textures etc from PC) on GBA, but it was changed and we have GTA Advance which is supposed to be GTA 3 BETA from PC (burried down ideas). Major changes are radar in the other place on the screen and some other textures added. They just released GTA 3 beta from PC on GBA and named it GTA Advance. The main reason was that converting missions to 2D environment was technically too hard + Destination Software was poor. You guys catch this now? nkjellman Posted February 14, 2013 Share Posted February 14, 2013 If anyone has GTA III on GBA, please upload a rom of it. Anyways, I bet that GTA III on GBA is GTA Advance beta. They originally intended to have the III storyline, but they canceled it. Then they changed it to GTA Advance by changing some things on the map, maybe vehicles, change Clade to Mike (or what ever his name is), change story missions, and change some map stuff. Exactly what I've just said Now take a look at my screens from GTA 3 Advance and then look at final GTA Advance. GTA Advance has GTA 3 beta textures of road for example and GTA 3 which was supposed to be released on GBA has the final GTA 3 textures (PS2). Arsen Vitiuk Posted April 1, 2013 Share Posted April 1, 2013 Maybe it's just me, but these screenshots are in 'GTA Advance style' - same game screen design as GTA Advance, but it's not Advance, as the HUD and vehicle design is different from that of GTA Advance. Polish forums prove it, like I said before + I've got screens from italian GTA 3 version with multiplayer box I will reveal it later on Swiatgta.pl, but that's another topic.
