It could work also the other way around, i.e trailer would spoil the GI preview. It would be bad for GI because they would no longer have exclusive news GI would still have exclusive news such as who the characters in the trailer are and their stories. Why? Because it's October and many associate this month with GTA games of the past being released during a cold and dark time of the year. Nonetheless, at least we have some sort of time frame now. nixion Posted October 16, 2012 Share Posted October 16, 2012 I've said this a thousand times, and of course its just my opinion, but Trailer 2 would not make sense without information about the Protagonist and/or the plot. So far we know neither. Both are 99.9% likely to be revealed in GI's article. GTA IV had a Game Informer cover-story one day after the first trailer. The cover was revealed but the article did not come around after Trailer 1 until April 10th, which backs up my point. We didn't know the man in the video as Niko Bellic until the GI article. I vividly remember noobs claiming they would not play as an "arab" or a "terrorist" for a while after. At the moment we don't know the name of the protag or the plot after Trailer 1. It make more sense for this to be revealed and "fleshed out" so to speak in a 10 page GI article rather than a 2 minute trailer. Rockstar can do what they want of course, but I can't see Trailer 2 until we know the protag and plot. Which is 99.9% likely to be revealed in GI. IMO, GI before Trailer 2. exactly what this member said, trailer 2 will concentrait on the story aspect and will relate to what is revealed in the magazine. Nobody want's to read about Max Payne 3 anymore, and it's their fault they said "in a few weeks or so". It's been long enough, and announceing that a third party company such as GI is going to have a cover story does not change the fact that it's been more than a "few weeks".
