Makes it feel you stronger that it was neccessarily? Nobody is always right. FYI The GI cover of GTA IV was revealed one day after the first trailer was released. The same can (not must) happen with GTA V. Who knows. Sure, but since I´ve been always right in the past I thought I´d give it a shot. Here is my speculation of everything leading up to the release: - GI preview will give a timeframe for release. ( 1st half of 2013 ) - 2nd Trailer + Release date at the VGAs. - Other mags and sites get previews starting in January. - 3rd and final "launch" trailer in April 2013. - Game comes out in May and is awesome. The magazine previews will definitely start before the end of this year. When a magazine gets the first preview of a game from Rockstar then all other magazines will follow with their own previews. It's pretty much a given that the magazine-previews will start anytime in November/December. The second trailer will be probably this year released. We've 15 days to go until the next finance conference of TakeTwo. A release date announcement before it is likely and if not then we only have to look at the numbers. If it's still 1.8 billion dollar respective $2 per share earnings then GTA V will be released in March at latest. But now, I'm thinking with the GI exclusive, the financial meeting being moved up to Oct. 30th, I do believe we will see SOME form of info about GTAV. I do believe it will be a trailer, because in about a month's time, we're going to be reading about details of the game in the GI mag, therefore it wouldn't make sense for R* to post a bunch of articles/pictures on their newswire, just so we can re-read about it all over again in the GI mag. Also, in some other thread, maybe even earlier in this one, I remember a post from Adriaan saying that he's pretty sure another trailer will come before the GI mag, he's just not exactly sure on a specific date. Finally, not that this is 100% proof, but Mvega's theory of what follow the 9 meant (seeing as how the tweet came on 10/11/12), and his theory on the merchandise, the study guide, and the paradigm shift seem to make the most sense. And also, this wasn't really info about the game, it was info about info about the game. AND, the GI preview can't really be the 'few weeks or so' either as when the mag is released it will have been almost 3 months since the 'few weeks or so' statement.
