r0eladn Posted October 20, 2012 Share Posted October 20, 2012 now can someone finally freaking explain this to me, cause its bugging me to no extent!....why the hell everyone assuming we will get GTAV info on 1st November if its just going to be COVER reveal?...unless cover is not what i think it is (its the first page of magazine/issue/book, which includes its name) and i lived under the rock all these years...please be so kind and enlighten me... What my understanding is is that the digital copy of the GI mag will come out November 1st. The hard copy comes a week or 2 later. ...it still doesn't answer my question...HOW does it make it possible to see other content, other than COVER itself? what makes people think we will see something else aside from that?? Didn't know that. I was kind of gutted we wouldn't see anything before December, when actually we will. Awesome. That's like a week Thursday if they follow the whole first Thursday thing. Fraizer Posted October 28, 2012 Share Posted October 28, 2012 I am going to stick to my theory of getting a trailer on or before Oct. 30th because anytime after the 30th gameinformer will be preparing to print and ship their cover story of GTAV. Theory is based on the Take-Two earnings conference being moved from Nov. 7th to Oct. 30th. I think **the conference was moved** because of information regarding GTAV, a trailer 2 launch with a release date at the end before on or before the 30th so that Zelnick can have that something solid to present to investors this time instead of beating around the bush and instead of saying "We have a [gameinformer] cover story of Grand Theft Auto V coming out that reveals the release date, so stay tuned for that" and he can update the FY 2013 outlook accordingly and with reason. With an announcement this big for a company like Take-Two, Zelnick will want the release date coming from his companies mouth to the people who invest in the company he runs instead of those words coming from leaks or from gameinformer. Were the conference still on Nov. 7th, gameinformer would be beginning to or have already shipped across the country, making inevitable leaks from retailers like GameStop that receive the Magazine earlier than subscribers, mail carriers, who are the first ones to lay hands on it after it leaves print, hell even the printing company that prints gameinformer could manage to leak details. Every company wants an announcement to be fluid and official before any leaks happen, they want the words to come from their mouths that "this is what is happening, this is when it releases." If you are running a major announcement of a very important product in a very popular Magazine, it is impossible to have no leaks. **I am not saying we will get information during the conference** Told ya... retail leaks inevitable.
