GTAV is December's Game Informer Cover Story

I was taught to believe only what I can see. I'm not doubting this, but until Andy just plain out says "GTAV WILL BE NEXT ISSUE OF GI" or something of that ilk, in plain english, OR, when the cover reveal actually releases and it can proven without a doubt. That's when I'll get excited. Until then, More wish-washy "ermagerd! Could this really be it" BS.

After what has gone on with V for the past year now, all the specualtions and predictions, I can't say that I blame you. But for some reason, this time I got my hopes up. I hope I don't regret it.

3 weeks today for the cover, then a bit longer for the print.

Does anyone know how this works?

 

- Is it normal for gaming magazines to have insight information about games before it is officially released by the developers?

- Has it happened with previous GTA's that a gaming magazine has info before it is released by R*?

- Why does/would R* do this? Do they get paid by the magazine?

- Yes it is, companies give magazines like GI information so they will release it and the hype fot the game will rise.

 

- Every GTA has a GameInformer cover, and also some Max Paynes had and L.A Noire and I'm not sure about RDR.

 

- They get paid because the more interesting the game is the more people will buy it, so it basically does good to the magazine and to the game.
