I hope the GI article isn't too narrative based. I love a good storyline, but at the end of the day, the storyline isn't the thing that keeps me playing the game for years after I've beaten it. I'd play Vice City or San Andreas any day if I could 10 years later... and I already know how the story starts and ends. I really hope they go into detail with the map and areas included in the game, and new gameplay features.

 

The storyline won't determine the game's last-ability in other words. So I hope they don't get too heavy on it. Same goes for Trailer 2.

On 31st, he said, "expect an official announcement today". We did get it.

 

He does have some highly trustworthy source (s), possibly his Rockstar friend(s).

rockstar never release gameplay screens/videos pre-release as to not break immersion for when u first play

If it DOES turn out that the game will have three cities....well...i can only say...mind=blown. That would be the best kept secret for this game yet, well no...wait..that would be the game itself really, cause we know so very little. Ah well, we'll see soon enough. Exciting times for a GTA fan. Back in August, who would've thought that we'd get all this? Artwork, a release window, GI cover story and a second trailer? Don't say you expected it, cause at that time...people were far from hopeful

Indeed you are right, we never got to see screenshots from how we will play it. It's always from a certain camera point, either showing the protagonist from the front or something else. But never direct gameplay shots.

Perhaps, because it is EXACTLY 1 week before trailer no.2, the "big surprise" will be nothing more than a countdown for the trailer at 3pm GMT? I hope it's something we don't already know and that it is unexpected, but I have a feeling we're just going to get a countdown.

Then, in the afternoon (US Central time) we will release the digital edition of Game Informer to iPad, 10-inch Android devices, and PC/Mac.
