I wonder if Rockstar shows the boxart already on November 5th, that would be really cool. And i'm hopeful for a collector edition reveal, but i kinda see that appearing later down the road.

How ironic is this:

http://www.gta4.net/news/3877/trunks-to-pr...cars-in-gta-iv/

"Opening car trunks was an anticipated feature in GTA: San Andreas, but turned out to just occur during a cut scene." HAHA! Little did we know back then.... I hope Game Informer isn't full of misleading garbage like this again.

For every detail that didn't make it into the final build, GI described countless features that not only made it into the game but also built excitement in the fanbase. I presume, perhaps incorrectly, that you did not read the GI article when it came out so many years ago. If you had, then you would know that it was truly an amazing piece that pumped everybody up like no other. I expect the upcoming article will do just the same.

okay, lets have a fun little game, we'll make a list, all of us together, about what we think they'll touch on and include in the 18 page statement and see how many points on the list we get right?

OK, you start.

mm if we see official pre-orders being taken place on the 5th, would Rockstar also release the cover art?

Rockstar however DID say this time that they only want to release correct/factual information about the game. But i understand what you mean, and it's never a bad thing to be aware of things and taking it all with a pinch of salt.

The "truth" behind Rockstar's claims is quite relative in the context of long-term game development. Rockstar may have had every intention of including trunks at the time of the article, but perhaps their inclusion produced some hiccup later on in the development that was most easily solved by simply removing trunks. I highly doubt that Rockstar has ever released intentionally incorrect information, but you are right - they will probably take every precaution to only talk about details and features that will most likely make it into the final build. As a gamer, I appreciate that.

A vice city anniversary trailer is still due. Hopefully it's released today and then tomorrow we can get something like artwork. But don't expect a trailer until next week

Yeah i think so too. Cause it would make no sense to first show the feature to GI, only to remove it later on, for no good reason. They made the feature in the first place, so that means something. But like you said, they no doubt ran into some problems with it. But i was quite sad when one of the first things i tried was climbing a telephone pole, but there was just no way sad.gif. Ah well. It's definitely something to apreciate if a developer is being honest about their things instead of loose promises like some devs do. If i recall the first previews of RDR, LA Noire and MP3 correctly...all the stuff they spoke about, made it into the game.

That's also what I'm expecting. I'm hoping we get either the dog art, or the woman cop art on the Newswire this week, or maybe

some art we haven't seen yet? Then a trailer next week before GI.

The newswire is awfully quiet...

Power still out.

Don't get worked up over a fake. If it's not in news/GTAV.net, that means it's fake.

That pic of CJ was fan art that R* featured on the Newswire a while back. The pics in the fake magazine are all taken from the first trailer.

Ah yes...and the 12 pages was a dead giveaway as well. But i didn't see that right away. And really, no way the cover is going to leak early.

What about GameInformer on November 8 being delayed Adriaan?

Do you think there's still a GOOD possibility? sad.gif

Game Informer aren't in New York. They are in Minnesota.
