I agree with you Jaggy snake... we are getting trailer two before the GI for sure and it will be the same week... Im almost 100% certain

Yeah and Adriaan clearly was up to something earlier today when he replied to me and said that that comment was about the GI issue releasing that same way. But i don't believe that for a second There was no reason to talk in such a...i guess..mysterious way about something everyone was aware of already.

Adriaan actually messaged me before he did that nimbus riddle and it was defintely about the GI cover...

 

He is just saying that the week of GI is when the "explosion" of info begins... but even he thinks that trailer two will be shortly after the GI cover

 

I on the other hand am convinced it will be before the magazine. I have said it since day one.

Trailer only after GI. Rockstar wouldn't want to give out lots of info in a short period. They've got the whole of November!

Thanks for clearing that up. And yeah, Adriaan clearly knows when things are up. He has gotten two very important things correctly recently, something none of us could know. Ah well, let's look forward to tomorrow, a little bit then, cause it won't be very interesting tomorrow.

Yeah, for some reason, i kinda think that the traiiler will be before GI. I mean, the trailer could make people more curious and then Gi preview could answers some question from trailer 2, or maybe its just my wishful thinking

Well, I just subscribed to Digital Gameinformer. I was actually going to once they announced GTA V.. My friend has his own subscription (which ended 2 months ago) and i'd always stole his magazines... LOL.. Once he told he wasn't going renew his subscription, i said i'd subscribe to it once it does GTA V happens. I'll buy the magazine in Gamestop whenever it's in shelves too.

No. The trailer for SA came a few months after the GI issue, and IV's first trailer was in March, the magazine came out in May, and the second trailer released in June.

 

There are no real rules anyways, because R* clearly does things differently now, but I would assume we're getting the trailer and any other information after the GI issue. Why would R* give them an exclusive, but then give us other info/media when there is only a little over a week before the issue becomes available? I think we might get a release date, but nothing else until after the issue drops.

For the record, I've said for a long time now that I think there will be a trailer before any previews. In fact, you can see I cast my vote in that "GI betting" thread.

 

From here on out, please reference my posts when you make claims about what I said.

The GI cover was shown on March 30. The day after the first trailer.

There was the Bugstars robbery scene in trailer 1 and this was used for the Pest Control artwork

 

So will there be a Man with bat and dog scene in trailer 2? Will that character be doing the voice over this time round?

The real wait is going to be after we've all read the GTA V cover story and we know the release window(which we already know now but still...), the wait for the game itself. Probably not knowing if it will be March, April, May or June...either way it's gonna be a looooooong wait.

How? Multiple protagonists will never be awesome. Playing as two characters? It will make the game soul-less.

Remeber SA? No one who has played the game will ever forget Carl "CJ" Johnson. That's what a soul is. You tend not to lose your focus on that character. Controlling multiple characters would ruin that experience for me. One might be in big trouble while the other is rich. Just no!
