@UP : The new leak has hammered the GI reveal.

Kinda sucks, to be honest. While exciting (of course), it a little unsatisfactory and anticlimactic to have some blurry images taken from someone's smart leaked to the web thus dampening the anticipation of some officially legit info/images released not too far from now.

 

All I'm saying is, if it were me who had a sneak peak at something like this, I would've kept it to myself simply out of respect to all those who'd worked so hard on it so that they can communicate it as they wish.

I disagree, this small little leak will be nothing in the grand scheme of what GI will have to offer. There will be at least 5 artworks in the pages of GI, and more than 10 screenshots. That is just aesthetic, there are at least 18-pages of print, that is a hell of a lot. If only 14 of those pages contain written word, that's still a lot of information to wrap our heads around. GI is still 11 days away, so of course excitement for it will be lower while we have more current things going on, but it's much bigger than this, let me assure you.

 

The only way something like this may hurt Rockstar in any way is that the release period has been revealed, which makes for less excitement when they announce it themselves.

 

Edit: I expect we'll get the official word from Rockstar on Thursday at the latest. I say Thursday, because Monday and Tuesday are covered by Vice City and MP3.

Delayed PC release.

 

They know that people like me will buy both copies. I have IV(including TBOGT) on Steam and on disc.

 

I don't mind waiting.

Why does everyone believe that the "Spring 2013" leak is real?? I think it's fake.

the only reason for me to believe that its true that the poster is made profesional,in a way..and the new artwork we never saw before (the one with the dog)..

 

IF its true it is kinda lame, yes..it spoils the release date we've been waiting to officially get by R* so long now..it spoils ?a possible never seen before character? (2nd artwork) and he probably major role of dogs in GTA V..and it spoils that there wont be a PC version (maybe later, dont know).....but on the other hand its a very nice surprise..spring fits to my expectations (march-may release)

 

R* definitely wont comment this, so i hope the GI article will clear things up and show us if this 'leak' is true or not

Some people are taking this a little too serious. The retailers may not have these on display yet but it's obvious that Rockstar wouldn't distribute these if they contained sensitive info. This was probably expected and it hasn't made any announcements or GI less interesting.

I think I worked it out from that leak.

 

3 protags. One is that black guy with a dog. The other two is the father and son. You can do missions playing anyone of them but you can also do missions with your friends playing all 3 protags during missions.

 

The son gets mixed up with that black guy (CJ's son?) so the father has to come out of retirement to help him?

 

Or maybe not lol.gif

It's always been balcony guy.

 

Who cares, if it's a protagonist he'll get a name in the GI article. He'll probably just be out boss. A really important one. That's a bold new direction. In most GTAs we work for ourselves.
