Endless Summer

Updated edition

Endless Summer is an original global modification for GTA: San Andreas, the purpose of which with the head immerse you into the atmosphere of summer freedom and carelessness.

 

The mod is successor of the traditions Spring Season and have dozens of new features and visual enhancements designed to show all the charm of summertime. Modification not violate the orders of the original game, but at the same time brings its own, special mood.

 

You can: to get sunstroke, to overheated in the sun; to see a very attractive girls in bikinis and floating in a sea of people; to get drunk as a lord at the beach bar; dance to the hits of classical rock at night beach party; climb to the top on the Ferris wheel; go to the nature to hunt on wild animals (two species of wolves, two species of bears, foxes); also you can see chickens and rooster in the county and dog with your old friends hunters; set the tent and sleep in it; buy a hunting cabin in the woods and enjoy the chirping of crickets in the late evening and even... investigate the scary mystery of the pirate ship, which resting at the bottom of the bay. This is a real adventure.

 

Visual improvements include, in addition to the sounds of nature, new textures for some parts of location, trees (included enhanced Project Oblivion 2010HQ), new effects and ENBSeries settings made special for mod and more other.

 

This mod allows you make travel in the summer, endless summer.

Endless Summer. Update 1: Summer Continues

 

 

First update for Endless Summer adds many improvements to the mod: the ability to dance on the beach, a new hunter's rifle, black bears in the forest, new music and many-many-many other things. Details.

 

Endless Summer. Update 2: The Real Hunting

 

 

Update is focused, mainly, on the hunting, and adds different new things. Details.

 

Endless Summer. Update 3: Treasures of Sea Wolf

 

 

This is the third and last update for Endless Summer mod «Treasures of Sea Wolf», the main feature in this update is an quest with same name. In original (base) mod you first could get some information about the sinking pirate ship. Now it is time to solve its secret. Also: new models of girls, new real estate (you can buy a house in Bayside) and a lot of other changes. Details.

 

Updates for Endless Summer mod you must install, of course, after original modification! Proper installation Endless Summer with updates: original mod, then update 1, update 2, update 3.

Details. You can download the fix («Fix for The Seasons mods in variants for SA-MP») and install it over the mod (fix was released 29 March 2014: fixed bug (in single-player), connected with crash of the game near lighthouse on Santa Maria beach and some other little things). If you are satisfied with the modification work you can not install fix.

 

Endless Summer. The Ship

 

 

Users that carefully playing in Endless Summer are know about important role of the ship on the bottom of the bay near the Palomino Creek. Exactly this ship is a main hero of the screensaver. After installation, on the screen, in moments, when you do not use computer, will be displaying charming and mystery picture: old sunken pirate ship rests on the bottom of bay; around the ship are circulating flocks of fishes, swimming the turtles, above the water sometimes are flying birds and day is changing to the night... No, more new updates not include contents of previous. So, If you want install Endless Summer (original version) with updates, correct way is: Endless Summer > Update 1 > Update 2 > Update 3 (and mini-fix, if need).

 

Also you can just install Full Edition version with all updates, and (if need) mini-fix after it.

You don't need to use enb for this. Try Colormod if you want color and bloom graphics.

No. You can! You ask me, why? Because mod has a several ENB configs for different PCs and special menu for change their. I would really like you to play with ENB from mod, because setting specially made in "summer style".

Yes, he can't. He has a intel graphic card, I heard around somewhere lately. I have one too (in my craptop) and I am not able to play GTASA with enb there. Once I was able, but with 1FPS, now it doesn't work at all (crash at start). Intel graphic cards don't support enb series... doesn't matter if 512mb or shader 3.0.

In far 1966 some company made a film, "The Endless Summer", about surfing... Would is seem my mod and this are connected movie? No way.

But in company decided otherwise, they write claim to YouTube that I violated their rights by using, apparently, "their" name, "Endless Summer" (although my mod's name don't have "the" in name...). As a result, one of my videos was deleted (video dedicated to Full Edition version of mod).

They do not care that song by Oceana, song by Scooter, album by Beach Boys have same name. I wrote them to review their decision and restore the video. But, of course, to hope there is nothing. How many stupid things sometimes happen... You quietly do your job, and someone puts a spoke in your wheels.

Updated. I filed a counter-application to YouTube and video has been restored. It is important - protect creativity and your rights.

How do I switch off ENB entirely? I could never understand people who like having shiny brick walls and bloom around every chimney. Shift+F12 doesn't work.

 

It looks like an amazing mod, but with the ENB it is unplayable for me.

The only thing is that the birds and insects are too loud, louder than the radio. Is there a facility to turn them down a bit?

No, I do not have any plans about new versions of The Seasons mod (by the way, I released Spring Season 2.0 with automatic installation). I think that unlikely to be a problem, if you install BSOR over the Endless Summer, but can not be sure.

I have another suggestion.

You should add some beach party like in OG Loc's mission "Life's a beach" since it would be fun or dance. Another one is make sunset more longer and sunrise earlier because it would be real experience of summer .

Work on the updated English versions of the mod in progress

 

Endless Summer — is an innovative and original global modification for GTA San Andreas that with head immerse you into the atmosphere of summer freedom and carelessness. The mod is successor of the traditions Spring Season and have dozens of new features and visual enhancements designed to show all the charm of summertime. Dancing to the hits of classical rock till you drop, beautiful girls, parties, working Ferris wheel, hunting with your friends in the wild forest and the real adventure — investigating of the scary mystery of the pirate ship. Hundreds of innovations bring the special atmosphere and do not violate the impressions from the original game and its work (mod is tasteful and good debugged).

 

Endless Summer mod was already translated to English (texts in game in documentation) but because of inexperience the translation has not been ideal.

 

Now there is a work on the updated English versions of Endless Summer mod. Will be updated and original mod, and updates for it, and Full Edition, and special version for SA-MP.

 

And not everywhere «updated translation» means editing of instructions; for original mod and updates that means a new translations of in-game texts (associated with story of pirate ship; before, with errors, including the errors that were admitted under the making of English build (Russian version of magazine in English version of mod), story was hard to understand) and even the repacking of mod.

 

Updated original version will be released on the next few days; then — updates, Full Edition and SA-MP Edition.

First update for Endless Summer is (re)released

 

 

In fact, Update 1, more precisely was re-released, because original versions of Endless Summer and its updates were released in 2011. But recently was decided to make new editions of mod and updates, with new quality English translation.

 

Thus, if you install Update 1, what do you get?

 

More hunting!

 

You can meet new animal in the forest — black bear. Search for these predators near the caves, in the forest. We have tried to place them realistic, like in real environment, for example, one of the bears stand near the pond (like he is drinking water).

 

 

More weapons!

 

In update was added new weapon — hunting rifle (you can find it in the Hunter's House).

 

 

More fun!

 

Carl now can dance at the night party on the beach.

 

 

More cool music.

 

Added two new songs for the beach party.

 

More other things.

 

New textures for the seabed; enhanced Hunter's House (now beside it is a wooden bench and a lamp, inside the house there was a staircase leading to the attic — attic was added in the Update 2, there was a game machine with a new game); more lives for bears for more dangerous hunting; fixed sounds of nature in the cabin; people near the bar do not stay there every time; hunter with a beard now dancing on the party with his weapon; improved beach textures and some forest textures; added billboards with the beer commercial («Бухой монахъ» \ «Drunken monk», reference to the one of authors mods); enhanced texture for sniper riffle; integrated mod «Abandoned airport 2.0» (it is not fully integrate to the original mod); pickups of the sticks do not more add in savefile anymore; bonus mod — «Flashlight»; added MIP-maps (special for updated edition of update) for some heavy textures from base mod and textures from update (for better performance).

Second update for Endless Summer is released

 

 

Continues the case about updated versions of Endless Summer mod and all updated for them.

 

Now meet the second re-released update — The Real Hunting! The Real Hunting update is focused, mainly, on the hunting, and adds different new things.

 

New animal in forest

 

Is the fox. You can hunt on them: in real life foxes usually do not usually attack people, but in our mod not only this is possible (bears in real life also do not open doors of your car!). You can find foxes near the farms in the fields (they like to eat chickens), as usually fox — is the completely new model which does not replace standard model, and have new sounds.

 

 

More dangerous hunting

 

Now animals will not disappear, even if you are miles away from them, this make hunting more dangerous.

 

 

Extended Hunter's House

 

 

Chickens, farms and other

 

There are more chickens on the farms now; one of places with chickens — is a farm that player can buy that player can buy. You can hear the scream of rooster in the morning and evening, like in real life.

 

For vacation in countryside: enhanced textures of some farms.

 

Also: improved beach textures, fixed some other textures, enhanced model of loudspeakers on the beach, some other fixes.

 

 

Special for updated version of update

 

Besides new English translation, was added MIP-maps (this optimization reduces the load on the graphics card and helped to get rid from blinking of textures) on all new textures, made new beautiful high definition textures for forest and Mount Chiliad*; made new LOD-textures (that displaying from far distance) for countryside.

Install Update 2 only after base Endless Summer mod with Update 1. Wait for new edition of Update 3 and Full Edition version.

 

* In HRT 1.4 I will be use another textures; in Endless Summer that textures not very similar to the original, but looks very good.

Question: have the mods all been deleted? I tried downloading all of them, but every time I just 'file not found' or something like that.

p.s.: has the 3rd update been released yet? I can't find it anywhere; yet you referred to the complete version as released. So where is it? Has it anything to do with the fact you are re-releasing the mods?
