Ok just finished all the photo ops in SF and when I went back to the garage my save point is gone! Would this be due to now having the weapons spawn plus a red marker there for 'Ice Cold Killa' which I am yet to start?

Maybe the game has a glitch here? I ended up having to buy the property up the street just so I could save the game

have you used GameShark or ARMax to modify the game?

I've never heard of this happening on PS2 before. Usually this problem occurs on PC games with poorly written mods installed. The pickup pool gets so cluttered that the game can't create new pickups. My other thought was that somehow the "on mission" flags is somehow on, but then other save disk wouldn't appear either, so that can't be it.

It's very strange that you are having this problem after collecting a lot of snapshots. That should have cleared up plenty of room in the pickup pool. If you revisit the areas of the snapshots, and collected oysters and horseshoes, and any place else where you've had a mission or gang war with lots of dropped items, then the game will have a chance to completely remove the used or expired pickups from consideration.

The save pickups get deleted and recreated whenever you load a save or start a mission. I wouldn't be surprised if it is back the next time you look.

Are you sure you haven't missed the first call that starts the Courier side mission? I remember(BOTH on PC AND PS2) how when you get the first call it automatically puts you in a mission and does not give the option to reply Yes OR No to it...This disables the save points until after the courier has been caught or gets away...This still confuses me to this day on this game...The courier missions(in SF) do not count for 100% completion, they are just to get a bit(small bit) of extra cash and to add something else to do in game...

That must be it. I had got about 38 photos when Cesar called and told me about the yay shipment. CJ replies with something like 'Ok, I'll keep an eye out for 'em'

Thus the reason for the missing save point. Technically CJ is on an activated mission. Gee that's weird! Thanks for the help guys smile.gif
