Ryder757 Posted October 10, 2012 Share Posted October 10, 2012 I thought the PS3 couldn't read dual layer blu ray discs? The PS3 supports Dual Layered disks. They can't currently read BDXL though, which are 100/128 gig disks. Those go up to 3 or 4 layers deep, and the current player in the PS3 isn't powerful enough to read information that deep. It can't read Multiple (more than 2) Layered Discs, those are the ones that go up to 200GB that were developed after. There was a bug once that made the PS3 unable to read dual layer discs for some versions due to an firmware update, but other than that it should work fine. The price will drop a few months after it's released, making it a very good deal, especially second hand after I've sold RDR and EFLC, I've never played midnight club and don't own LA Noire anymore (not that I'm going to play it a lot again). It's also a nice gift, it saves the hassle of switching disks and a good way for R* to make up for MP3's low sales. I wonder if it includes the booklets... Probably not. It makes sense for GTA EFLC and RDR as GTA IV and Undead Nightmare plus multiplayer DLC are games in their own right but LA Noire DLC will not be released in another package. Ruins the overall value. WTF "1080p" "1080p" "1080p" Consoles can't take it up their bum above 720p and this is a open world game. No offence but I think PC gamers should just play games and leave us console gamers alone. Now that would have totally rocked! They should have at least included the DLC's. If they do that, I might have to sell my copy of GTA IV:CE and Red Dead Redemption GOTY.
