The Birds Update

 

This asi plugin modifies all the birds routines, adding a customizable bird system and other features.

  • Fully customizable birds through "birds.dat" file, you can create new birds
  • Killed birds won't "vanish from nothing" anymore, the bird will fall...
  • Opcode 0876 have now some more functionalities, see the readme
  • 10 new birds with their own characteristics and better textures!
If you would like to add more birds, read the readme file.

There's a Bird Dev Tool, to help you creating new birds, if you want to.

This is pretty creative actually, I never thought anything could be done with those vanishing birds that fly around.

Any chance the birds can stay on the ground, instead of disappearing?

Yep, but I thought it was best to make the bird disappear when killed according to the distance to the ground.

I once saw another bird mod on LibertyCity that had parrots/pigeons spawn on the power wires .. That mod never worked for me though ..

Guilty as charged but in my defense, I rarely bump. tounge.gif When I first arrived in 2007, I was asking everyone how to access the birds. lol.gif So glad Link2012 did it!

I was creating very big bird with bird dev tool, but they isn't appear, whats wrong? :/ anyway very cool mod :cool:

Topic created in October 2012 and only now I saw this mod. Interesting work! I always upset by look of original birds, but birds from this mod looks great. LINK/2012, can you to do version without killing birds, just these beautiful birds that flying in the sky (and player can not kill them)?
