I Shot The Sheriff
So, am I the only one who's been watching a lot of LA-related media content, just for the illusion of getting closer to the Cali mood? Some examples: Films: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Film...t_in_California YouTube videos of random roads of LA / cali: (this may result somehow dumb to you but I enjoy it) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6PP54QaB91o Music: Just released new Xzibit album http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UU6sedEfbGw...aH_GL0jP4uSsEVk The Doors playlist (60's rock from LA) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_VN8JFPSmZs...9086FBB319AEF8E Songs about Cali: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DsKYSi-Qk0c Plus a bunch of documentaries not necessarily related to California itself but about stuff that happens there, it's a payne in the ass to look for them now so bear with me on this. And also sometimes I use Google Street View to take a closer look at the streets in LA. No biggie but I just enjoy that kind of stuff! What do you think, have you been like me too, or am I a crazy freak?

DS 17
Some films don't have anything in common with the reality. I prefer a version which fits better to reality than some Hollywood crap. There are good films anyway. I don't remember the name of it, but they robbed a bank, I guess with a heli on the top of the bank tower and escaped with a news heli. In the end the planned to rob out a armored car, but then they failed. This mission would absolutely fit into a GTA.

kurvenflo
So, am I the only one who's been watching a lot of LA-related media content, just for the illusion of getting closer to the Cali mood? You are not. I do the same. I'm using a similar list of movies and I try to complete it by the time V comes around. I have been buying BluRays like a maniac for the past few months. It's funny. By the time R* made San Andreas they obviously made the same thing as to do research for the game's setting (especially gang culture). You recognize SA in numerous scenes in different movies. I wonder, what movies they use as inspiration for V.
