DC93
Hey guys, I've been wanting to get a certain tattoo now for ages, the only thing that's stopping me is the fact that the base design I have for it is nowhere near as detailed as I'd want it to be. Now of course, I could take it to the artist I'm going to and have it designed by them (which would be the obvious choice), but I feel like throwing it out to the community to see what they have to offer. Don't mind how you design it, as long as it's do-able by a tattoo artist then it's all good Here's the base design; Yes, that is Griever from Final Fantasy VIII. Basically want it to have a tad more shading/detail, and the lion's head to look a look more in depth, and maybe a little more aggressive. Cheers! GunWrath
Well, is this your first tattoo? Because all you would have to do is take that image to your tattoo artist and tell him exactly what you want. All the shading and detail will be added while he's tatting you. First he'll outline, then comes color (if applicable) and shading. Most images that people choose for tattoo's are very simple in design and come out beautiful once the artist adds his artistic touches. But if you still want shading and details added to that image, then no biggie.. Just figured I'd let you know, (if you're new to tattoos)
DC93
Oh I know, but it'd be nice to see some different designs, then I can pick certain bits that I like from different renditions, and get what I would really want done by the artist if that makes sense. If you're gonna have something on your body for a lifetime, you may as well be picky about it eh
