Above Posted October 19, 2012 Share Posted October 19, 2012 (edited) I expect a trailer to arrive on 29 October and I don't just say this because I want it to happen. I see three reasons. First, there's the T2 investor conference call on 30 October for which they should announce a release date in advance. The "substantial progress" statement, with regards to development, would, if used again, become an increasingly sensitive subject towards shareholders. Second, Game Informer arrives in early November with a huge cover story and Rockstar would be smart to create refreshed hype in order to enhance the impact of the info in GI. Finally, GTA Vice City sees its 10th year anniversary on 29 October and since there apparently is no major celebration for this, a GTAV trailer would be a fitting tribute to the past and look to the future of the series. In other words, next week will most likely be boring but there could be a countdown. This is speculation so feel free to argue against these points. I said when andy mc namara let us know GTA V will be decembre GI cover, that we certainly won t have anything til then. Hope i m wrong though. An article they posted yesterday said something like "a few weeks back we spoke about the NASA article". That NASA article was only posted 2 weeks and 3 days before yesterday's article. It was ~7 weeks between the 24th August (when they said a few weeks or so) and the announcement of the GI issue. I don't think this is what Rockstar was talking about back in August though. We haven't seen anything yet and unless they release something soon then we won't until early november. Or correct a spelling mistake. GTA V has it own website. Why bother to upload it on youtube before the release. Ot to be more accurate : even the countdown. Would nt make much sense to me. Upload it after the release and it won't be bringing in all those hits until it's been uploaded and processed. Anyway, I'm not entirely serious about it. I doubt they have uploaded it.
