Raynos
Theyre not fun to go over in real life, why would they be fun in gta? Really? I mean seriously? Haven't you ever wanted to ignore the speed bump and just floor it? Well, in GTA, you will be able to do that without all the negative effects, How can that Not be fun? Great idea OP. Hopefully GTA V will have some speed bumps nears schools and things... did GTA IV have any schools? hmmm.. lol Roundabouts would be awesome.. but I don't know if you Americans use them, you guys just have lights and stop signs? LotusRIP
Speed bumps are like rural road things. Residential and such to keep idiots from hitting kids in neighborhoods. Other than attention to detail they'd be lame. Well if attention to detail is something they profess, such as going to lengths to make sure the trash on the sidewalks and Starbucks cups looks realistic, then speed bumps would and should be a high priority for a driving game with grand theft auto for its title! Dr Pepper 94
Hmm, sounds like a pretty good idea! would suck to have them all over the place though, like for example downtown and avenues etc.. But i would like to see some of them in the residential and hospital areas! Btw, im desperate for new info now.. They said a FEW WEEKS???
JaggySnake
I don't think they should be in the game.
el_roy1985
I see them being annoying more often then they would be fun. I don't want to have to worry about flying through the air every time I'm blasting down a particular stretch of road. I guess it would be fine if it was a road that is seldomly traveled. Although, I'm sure there will be plenty of things to launch off of, so why do we need speed bumps?
Beez
Fu*k speed bumps. I hate them in real life, I certainly don't want them in any video game I buy. What is with people wanting to put every mundane, hassle in real life into the game!?
grope_4_that_date
I actually agree with the OP. Speed bumps would create a more realistic, dense traffic simulation. They're rare occurrences, which is why you don't really see them in Grand Theft Auto. They're mainly for parking lots. You'd see them around high pedestrian areas, such as company parking lots, schools, and hospitals.
quechus13
He is probably foreign its like Americans thinking burritos are from mexico when they are not. How dare you! Of course burritos are from Mexico! I'm Mexican. Burritos are from Texas.
Pyrrhic
What the f*ck is a speed bumper? If you really are Australian and you don't know what a speed bump is you must be seriously mentally ill.
Jordy.
Speed bumps would really f*ck you over in street races; or any situation where you're in a hurry. You know when you're driving a car or motorbike, and for some reason you end up being lifted off the ground by something, causing you to crash? As if there was a small invisible bump in the road? No more of that, thanks.
Viperman
Bad idea. The kerb stones would need to be raised too. Otherwise the speed bumps would look stupid sticking up. And who wants to play gta avoiding all the pavements? - [- No Fear. No Limits. No Equal. -] - - [- Ride For Life -] - Digging deep. It's not just an expression that's thrown around the locker room at halftime. It's a way of life. A daily code that drives a champions existence. It's not always glamorous. It's not always blue skies and sunny days, and its certainly not always welcome. But love it or hate it, to become a true champion take pure, unrestricted commitment. cant remember
San Andreas had 'somewhat' speedbumps on some residential intersections, but they had practically no effect on the car. I'd like speedbumps, I would also like risking to pop tires when going onto curbs too fast.
soundbomber
speed bumps would be cool but imo are a win/lose thing depending on the player and how they make them. no speedbumps would pretty much just be win/win/dont care. I think it would fun boosting off them on your motorbikes
mubd
What the f*ck is a speed bumper? If you really are Australian and you don't know what a speed bump is you must be seriously mentally ill. Pardon me, but OP originally had the title and his post saying "speed bumper" instead of "speed bump". I thought he was talking about some sort of aerodynamic bumper on sports cars or whatever. With regards to speed bumps, I think something like this would be reasonable in residential areas in the game: This, however, would be annoying:

matajuegos
Why not? it adds a realistic feel to the city, I mean, if we have useless window cleaner platforms and toll highways AND car washing places, why the hell not?

uzi 9mm
Speed bumps in V? It would be realistic I guess, but only keep them on streets with houses and only some streets, no main roads though, in London they're all over the place, even on some of the main roads you'll find speed ramps, speeding is a big problem in most cities, and GTA V will be ruined if they put ramps on lots of roads, so keep it discreet, and only on some roads, like where the posh people live or something. As much as I hate em I do admit they're a good way of bringing down the speed, I wouldn't wanna smash my car up going fast over them, and some bumps are evil, it's like when they were laying them down they didn't give 2 f*cks about the roads and just left it ragged and too big. And roundabouts aren't as common in the USA as in England, so I doubt you'd see many, in London roundabouts are common and that's due mainly to the fact that the road system here in London is ancient and wasn't 'built-to-plan'. It was built bit by bit, some added here and there, and so on. Look at these images comparing Los Angeles and London. You can see the difference of the road system. LA: LONDON: Now looking at this you can easily see how in LA the roads are basically gridlocked, and run parallel to each other, like straight lines crossing over each other, but in London you have roads twisting and winding, this is because London wasn't planned when it was built, it's just been built as the ages have passed. The.Driver
A "dip" would really slow a car down. I do alot of work in neighborhoods and dips really jar me.
bluetops
There are speedbumps in GTA IV. It's in a garage and in that garage only. They're too low though to slow you or make your car fly. So, if the speedbumps are like that I'm all for it
