grope_4_that_date
Amazing story! You had my attention the whole read through- very intense. Glad to know you handled the situation well. You definately taught me a lesson about the gettaway car. If that ever happens to me, I'm going to try to get the plate number down, maybe take pictures while they're robbing my house. Andreas
Not many people can think clearly in such a situation. Kudos to you. GTAForums Crew Chat Thread - The Sharks Chat Thread - Leone Family Mafia Chat Thread
The Scottish Guy
Hold up. You needed a video game to teach you how to handle this situation? Seriously? Anyway, very interesting read indeed. Hope the f*ckers are caught. This is one advantage of living in the US, being able to legally own a piece. However I do keep a baseball bat under my bed incase such a situation should arise. My area isn't bad, but it ain't the best either. Constantly have junkies harrassing me for money so they "can get the train home". So I kindly tell them to f*ck off. One of these days I'm gonna get stabbed, I just know it, but they really piss me the f*ck off. Smack-head scum. EscoLehGo
Congrats on being calm and level headed through this ordeal. My plan of action probably would have been much different. If I heard someone breaking into my house when I was there alone masturbating or playing xbox (because that's what I do when I'm home alone, not watch gossip girls) I'd probably react by grabbing my aluminum bat, taking my pants off (assuming they were ever on), then I'd psych myself up and run towards the noise screaming "WHO DAT?!? WHO DAT?!!" like some retarded Saints fan and I'd make sure my dick was hanging out of the front part of my boxers for intimidation purposes. Most people aren't up for fighting someone wielding a baseball bat with their cock and balls exposed. Edited October 9, 2012 by EscoLehGo

ghost of delete key
Crazy sh!t, and good job on the detective work. If it wasn't for the stupid-ass good samaritan yelling at the driver, they likely would have stayed until the cops came to scoop 'em up. Oh well, there's a couple of lucky schmucks huffing $200 worth of petrol somewhere... Glad you're alright. Robinski
Let me guess. They were black right? Did they look like this? I knew this was coming as soon as I saw "Aboriginal" in the OP. Anyway, good job Piperka. You made the right choice and acted wisely with a level head. For those bastards to interrupt such a good choice of activity is abhorrent. Congrats on managing not to get stabbed though.

Guest
Came back to add to my previous points of the flawless plan to keep all your sh*t and have the criminals arrested. Assuming I was old enough to drive, I would have done what you did BUT avoid the neighbour. Wait outside for the cops to arrive. If the cops were late, stay on the line with the cops and follow them in your own car, and tell the cops what street they're on etc. Would cops even do that? GTA_stu
I doubt I'd ever get robbed because I have a big angry dog that barks like a big angry dog when ever someone comes within 100 meters of the house. But let's say that she has a sore throat and is unable to vocalise her aggression towards the potential intruder, and I'm upstairs pumping the gun and some guy comes in through the back window. I keep no weapons in the house, apart from my fists of course, and tbh I'd probably be better off with a wet tissue. I suppose I'd wander downstairs, and would inevitably come across old Mr. Robber, at this point there are 2 eventualities: 1. He sees me and in sheer panic at my manly presence he bolts back out through the window leaving a trail of urine in his wake with his (metaphorical, unless he has some weird mutation) tail between his legs. 2. (And the more likely outcome) He sees me and thinks "I can take this scrawny c*nt!" and proceeds to chase me up the stairs whilst I scream like a little girl, before violently sodomising me on my own bed. He'd then force me to show him where we keep the valuables, make one last derogatory and humiliating insult to me, then he'd make off with the loot whilst I collapse into a ball of tears crying for my mummy. But you handled it really well Piperka, and I want you and your sister to know I'm here for you if you need me.

018361
You handled it better than i probably would have. If i heard someone breaking into my home and i had a gun on me he would probably end up in a body-bag or even worse i would.
.2D
Leave the radio on downstairs now while I'm sleeping to ward them off these days. Ah, it's not just me then. We've never been robbed, but we always try and leave the radio and/or a light and television. Especially if we're out at night. We had loads of burglaries in the area a while back, so I like to think our carefulness could have saved us some grief, even if at the extra electricity cost. Finn 7 five 11
Solid thinking there, Piperka. Yeah it honestly was, going out the front door, alerting the neighbours and calling the cops was a brilliant idea, i would have ran straight to the back window and probably would have gotten gang bashed, i'm not Bruce lee, one on one is how i need to roll haha. You live in Perth right? Also known as Aboriginal town, i sometimes wonder if the socio-economic disparities among other things, between your Average Australian and Aboriginals is ever going to disappear. Glad you're okay, but you do realize that your Samsung Galaxy S3 can take photographs and videos.Did you even bother to take a photo or video of these scums? He was on the phone with the cops so he couldn't really start filming.
nightwalker83
Damn, that is bad luck! I doubt anyone could/would bother breaking in here. It's difficult when you got these individuals breaking into houses, burning flags and disobeying direct police orders then leaving the white community to apologize, compensate or feel sorry for them. If you don't, you're racist. Glad you're okay, but you do realize that your Samsung Galaxy S3 can take photographs and videos.Did you even bother to take a photo or video of these scums? Guest
I was expecting a milestone, but Jesus Christ!Good stuff for getting down the car make, numberplate, etc. and hopefully they were stupid enough to use a close friend's car. What am I saying... they broke into a house in the middle of broad-f*cking-daylight, I wouldn't be surprised if they used their parent's car that was probably stolen/bought from Centrelink payments anyway. Is your neighbourhood notorious at all or close to any dodgy part of Perth? Yeah but everybody is usually at work at day time so they probably thought it was a good idea. My neighbourhood and the one next to me is new and pretty good, no Aboriginals live anywhere near here, they come from far away when they try to rob. Last year the neighbourhood next to me was targeted for crime by gangs, and there were letterbox bombs. Nothing bad has ever happened in my neighbourhood though. Wow. I hope your sister is OK. lol Also, when the police did a registration check, the car was registered to an Aboriginal, matching the description to the people I saw. They're going to arrest the man today probably and question him and sh*t about the other people, so they even used their sh*tty car.

chris
What a sh*tty situation, i also applaud how sensible you were handling the situation. If my house was to be burgled then chances are, cause of the layout of the house, i'd end up seeing eye to eye with the burgular so i probably would end up being stabbed, shot or battered, my plan of action would be to run into my brothers room which like alot of young teenagers looks more like an armory then a bedroom.
