ccrogers15
Ok so i dont know the issues originating point at all, but all i know is, i have high speed internet, but when i download, it goes SUPER slow, no matter what, eventually the download says "Network Error" and fails. What is wrong? My router is not the issue, because ive replaced it several times in the last year.
Girish
Is your Chrome up-to-date? Does the download work fine on other browsers?
Bad.boy!
Maybe the download (server) itself is the problem? Can you download other files without errors?

Finn 7 five 11
"High speed" internet doesn't mean sh*t, do this speed test and post your result (It gives you an IMG you can copy paste). http://www.speedtest.net/ That will tell us if your internet is actually slow or it's something else. Also what do you mean when you "Download" something? Do you mean when you go on youtube and watch a video? Or do you mean when you download actual files from something like pirate bay? If you have replaced your router many times and it happens on all browsers then chances are it's your ISP, how much do you pay per month? Is your ISP cheap compared to others? To me it sounds like you have sh*t internet, and i think i remember you making a topic about this already. edit Ive got Springcom, some cheap internet. I pay for high speed but all i ever get is shi*. And right now? Its 2:00 AM. At this SAME TIME every morning, the internet starts going super slow, and several websites will not load. Im able to load up GTAforums and its network sites, comcast.net, US.playstation.com. But thats it. Nothing else will load. Its in an infinite load loop. And i know its not my router as i have already replaced it several times. Its not my computer because my PS3 wont connect to PSN either. Any tips? Get better internet. First of all, i dont download illegal files, im talking files from websites like CNET. Second of all, That post is old. Dont quote that, because i dont even have springcom anymore, ive got comcast. Finn 7 five 11
Ah good, completely ignore 90% of what i said, let's recap. 1. Do a speedtest with the link i provided, pick a few different servers each time and post your result here. 2. How does comcast rate to other ISP's? Is it cheap in comparison? or expensive? 3. The pirate bay thing was just an example, hence why i said "Something like pirate bay", and pirate bay has its legitimate uses as well so don't automatically assume i am accusing you of piracy. My point was to ask what you meant by download. Sheesh. EDIT: Judging by CCrogers final comment, i think we can conclude that you get what you pay for. Wolf68k
Try power cycling the modem and router: Unplug the modem and router (if you use one) and wait about 5 minutes. Then plugin the modem and wait for it to be at a ready state, then plug in the router. If you do not use a router then shut down your PC instead. If the router is built into the modem then just power cycle that and you shouldn't have to worry about your PC being up or not.
