I find it easier to have the muscle memory of cheat codes than the muscle memory of whipping out the phone and going through. Also, the first time you put in a cheat it is painstakingly slow. On the other hand, combo lets me use cheat in all situations. It should be like in III and VC where cheats can be entered when in pause menu too. Graven Posted October 9, 2012 Share Posted October 9, 2012 I have already mentioned this somewhere, but the phone should be updated to this generation so You could customize the front screen(s). It would make cheats 2 clicks away. Every cheat could have a personal icon. Raise the phone, browse with analog stick (or arrow pad) and click your cheat! Me neither lol I can see their point on cellphone use though, but at the end, the whole not-being-able-to-use-them-in-certain-events thing kills it for me. I also liked the pause menu idea, but in Redemption, it was such a drag to go pause, go through the menus and find the cheat. Maybe I'm just lazy. TheD94 Posted October 9, 2012 Share Posted October 9, 2012 Typing the classic code would be very annoying, for example when you're sitting in flying plane and you need health cheat because plane is burning, you "accidentally" type the get-out-of-vehicle-button, which is needed for the cheat, without knowing and there you have your fun. The health cheat is always on the top of the list in the phone, so it's not hard to find and use. Traditional way on keyboard got kind of annoying typing HESOYAM everytime I wanted health And VROCKPOKEY or VPJTQWV everytime I wanted a race car, it got irritating. I think it's easier if you have time, because once you have used a cheat, you don't have to type it all over again. But it is nice to have a cheat menu that you can spam on the phone.
