Andreas
I think it'd definitely work if a great ammount of people ask the same questions about GTA V via mouthoff. Sure, they won't give us an answer but if we're lucky then these questions will be at least in the next Asked&Answered. Deffpony
Im not gonna quote myself from before but some of you still arent reading what I said... These questions WONT be for RIGHT NOW. They will be for when the marketing campaign for V actually starts. We know they are keeping tight lipped about V now. But when the game has a couple of trailers and a few articles not only will we have better luck asking questions, but we will be more informed about the game, so we can ask the right questions. And I guess we will already know the estimated release date by then. So I don't think there will be a real necessity to ask any questions after they started with the campaign. Andreas
I'm aware of what you said. I just said this incidentally to be honest. I think that your idea is great and we really should try it when the marketing campaign of GTA V is starting. The possibility that we get some real answers would be a lot higher than right now. Lewligan
I think we should just go for it. Anything is better than reading through the endless amount of pathetic topics that are currently floating about. Nothing makes for good reading on this forum at the moment. That Epsilon thread crushes my soul every time I have a scan at it. At least this is something to discuss & work towards - even if it doesn't come off, at least it will create some decent conversation & good, relevant questions will be brought to light. IF they do answer us, then that's quality. IF they don't, then we haven't lost out on anything.
HOAXi
A nice thread. +1 to OP and + 1 to Adriaan for being informative on it. Though Test Drive Unlimited 2 kinda sucked (car physics, handling, sounds and bugs), I do want to credit Atari/Eden Games for being so active within the community and some even got a sponsored game-testing trip to France. They also added some features the community requested into the game. I don't expect R* to do the same, I don't even expect anything, I will buy the game anyway, but it would sure be a big plus in my book if they were a little closer to their loyal community. The admins/mods and lots of fans here (and other gtaforums) have been following closely on the GTA serie daily for a long time. Some even so long that it's close to one third of their entire life. Some sadly has passed away during that time. Rockstar, you can move your lips once in a while without spoiling the good stuff

No dude they will bother when they ramp up the marketing, that is when they do pretty much all of their interviews, there will be a steady flow of information sure, but we need to ask questions to get more. Asking now makes no sense because they aren't ready to release information yet.

If they won't say anything now due to not been ready yet what makes you think they will say more when marketing has started when they won't be ready to say more then that is already know. S1LV3R_W0LF
I think in order for this to work we need someone representing all of us to communicate with Rockstar and ask them if they could answer to some question, even after the Marketing Campaign starts. I think our first task should be voting for the person that represent us best, someone that loves Rockstar and is very comprehensive in the case they say no. My vote goes for Zee. Cyfa
Well, if Adrian gets a response then I'm sure deffpony or somebody else will make a thread where we can compile our questions and then add a poll with the most common questions and we can vote for them directly on GTAForums. God im really tired of how negative everyone on this forum has become. As fans I thought this would be something you guys would want This isn't a knock on someone's idea, just an opinion based on the past year. On a monthly basis, people get all riled up on everything from Game Informer covers, to financial conference call predictions. Rockstar may have done a Q&A session before, but their stance has been very clear. They don't want to spoil the game by divulging information this time around. Sorry if i don't want to add to what i think is false hope, by trying to be positive, but i don't think it's realistic. I AM very positive about the outlook for the game, simply based on Rockstar's past performance in developing great games. I haven't been dissappointed yet, and although i hate waiting for information as much as anyone, i happen to agree with their stance on not wanting to spoil the surprise. MY biggest complaint with them is that they should have kept their mouths SHUT about the entire project from the beginning. They OBVIOUSLY were nowhere NEAR marketing time, and all they did was get fans hopes up that they would soon have another GTA in their hands. Just once, i wish they wouldn't tell everyone about a game until it was at LEAST 6 months away from a release date. I'm STILL wondering what the hell is going on with AGENT, and NOBODY is going to convince me that telling the world about these titles so early in development does any good for ANYONE. Taking everything that's happened into consideration, it makes ZERO sense that they would suddenly grant a forum a Q&A session.

I totally hear what you are saying But I dont see why this isnt worth trying to organize. The way I see it is if we can get in contact with someone at R* and express to them that we would like to do our own QA they would be able to tell us when and how they would like to do it. If they wanna do it right after the second trailer then fine, if they wanna do it a month before release then fine. But IF we got a chance to ask them our questions, its better than nothing. We are the GTA experts and I think that questions from us are much more valuable than questions from some editor. I agree that it is a shot in the dark but its worth a shot. Raynos
Cool, so, no questions now, we shall have a Topic about it in future when the "marketing" starts. Not a bad idea OP, As Adrian has mentioned earlier, this has been done before, I remember back in the SA days, we all had put forward questions. One of the mods arranged them and sent them off to Rockstar.. or something. Memory is failing me here, but it was quite awesome.

Hopefully myself and or Adriaan will hear back soon and we will be able to iron something out. The way I see it is GTA V is "the big one" and a GTAforums Q&A is more valuable now than ever. DeafMetal
If they accept and will only take certain questions, then let's ask the same questions, albeit rephrased. For example: 1. When will the game come out? 2. When do you think you will finish the game? 3. When will the game be ready for sale? 4. When do you expect the game for the consoles? etc.

No, because rockstar don't give a sh*t about the fans. Can you please f*ck off back to Ayers Rock or something? Honestly you post in every single god damn topic saying the exact same thing. Well we got news for you. Furthermore it's not even true! If they didn't care about Fans why did they do a Q&A with us before? They even flew out a member from here to try the game or something like that if i remember correctly. They also released Max Payne 3 for all the fans of the series, they could have just made another GTA and sold 20 million + copies, but no they decided to make another Max Payne 3. They could have not even announced GTA V until now, but no, they were nice and released a trailer for us and gave us screenshots when they shouldn't have said anything.
