alphawolf211
Hi, I recently re-installed GTA San Andreas after opening a .img file with Img Tool provided by a site on this network. The problem was I opened it and forgot to re-build the .img file (called "gta_int.img"). Anyway, I re-installed it and my game worked beautifully. Now this where I have to tell you I have a modded Hydra, Nevada, Shamal, and a SwatVan. So I went into SAMP (San Andreas MultiPlayer) and noticed CLEO did not work. So I left and went to re-install it. Since then it has been one long string of errors that I can't seem to fix. Earlier, I re-installed my game for the 3rd time and noticed that instead of the problem being "stackhash_d68b" it was an error related to cleo. So I took Cleo off and it worked! But in my opinion, CLEO is the best thing that has ever been developed for GTA. So I put CLEO back on and I got a stackhash error again. I will list my specs below.. Now, I don't want to drive people away by posting incomprehensible crap that nobody can solve, so please don't give up when I post this error message the reason being I saw some poor guy who posted a forum post back in '08 and had crap I couldn't even understand, and it never got answered. lil weasel
The San Andreas Forum is for UN-modded game questions, and problems. In Your haste to post You must have missed the Bottom Main Menu choice for MODDING. And obviously the Banner lettering: Modding questions belong in THE MODDING FORUMS! Where You click on the underlined words. That’s where You can find Players who ARE dedicated Modders, they are more likely to give You some assistance! Be careful to post in the correct forum topic, as they can get persnickety about that. What we recommend is to get rid of all Mods. Play the game with a CLEAN install from your DVD. And, play with the DVD in the Drive. If you don't have a problem with game play you don't have a problem. You may then install your mods ONE at a time playing the game to be sure it still works. Then, you may install the next mod. Repeat. When you get to the mod that screws the game don't use it OR go to the Modding Forums for help.
