GuyB121 Posted October 7, 2012 Share Posted October 7, 2012 Who here remembers where they were when they first saw Trailer 1, a little under a year ago, how did you feel when they realised that a new GTA was on the way I'll kick it off, I had just finished school for the day and as I went to a boarding school they blocked the Rockstar website, Youtube, Facebook etc etc, so as soon as school finished I walked 15 minutes into town to go to the library with my headphones and sat there for about 10 minutes waiting for the clock to tick down to zero, I must have watched the trailer about 5 times, OMG I thought, it looks amazing, lol, cant wait to play it, but thats just me, what about you? P.S - I know this is a bit off topic but we do seem to have hit a bit of a low point, i.e no news, screenshots and were getting to a stage where apart from release date rumours topics, we have little to discuss apart from how the clouds seem to be moving quickly in the trailer Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I was home for the trailer, the countdown was one of the most awaited moments I've ever had My jaw dropped when I saw that trailer, simply amazing. I'd predicted it would be Los Santos already tho. Two days before the trailer I was playing GTA SA, not having a clue of the new GTA coming up. When I stoped playing, I suddenly was curious if there was a new GTA. So I searched and oh wonder: there was going to be a new GTA. And a trailer in two days, I couldn't wait. You'll understand that I was very disappointed when I heard I had to visit family that day. So I couldn't wait to go home and watch the trailer. On my way home, I heard on the radio that the first trailer was 1 minute 15 seconds and that it didn't gave much away of the game. Strange reading that thread with the amount of forum member's being excited about the release of trailer one, and I don't blame them; hope that same reaction happens again with trailer two if it ever comes out. SAME! But I tried watching it on my phone at school, and on my phone it loaded in low quality, so in terms of graphics I wasn't so shocked. But the atmosphere was amazing. I was in awe at the look (even though at the time, the video was playing in low quality) of the game. I was later able to watch it in its full HD glory at home, and it was even better then. It's funny, because the months prior to the 25th Oct announcement, I had been visiting R*'s page almost daily to see if there were news on any new GTA. On Oct 25th, I hadn't visited it for like a week, which means that I entered and saw the giant logo that precise day by pure coincidence. God knows how could I have found out about the announcement without that lucky coincidence. I was obviously FCKING excited the whole countdown week, I told my friends n everything. So the day of the trailer, I watched the countdown for like an hour before. The comments on the page were at a rate of like 200 per minute, and so were the beats of my heart. When I watched it for the first time, I literally laughed of pure joy. Ah, the good times. Right now, I haven't watched it for more than a month now.
