Nickhinkle
I am an architect and real developer. I have always loved every game of the GTA series and have played all of them "out". I have always been extremely disappointed with the GTA world's residential homes and safe houses, except the three mansions in GTA IV and some homes on "Starfish Island", and especially the interior of the safe houses and those seen in the cut scenes. Rockstar could easily hire achitects, such as I, and designers to make the homes look far more realistic, in the sense that the citizens living in these upscale neiborhoods are very wealthy, just by the comparison of the "real" areas that they are a parody of. The homes that are considered mansions in the game should be and can be, by the reaches of the cosmos, far, far more grand than those that are in the games. I hope that this will be changed in GTA V, with the addition of a Beverly Hills/Bel-Air/Holmby Hills area of the game. I have always wondered though, how much do you think that the properties/"boss" homes in the GTA world would be valued in the "real" world, based on their location and amenities, etc. I've also always wondered what the "real" world net worth would be of the main character and supporting characters in the game. I have an estimate of all of them in mind, that I calculated previously today. I will share my opinion once everyone has given theres'. So, what do you think the residential properties, in the game would be valued at/worth, in comparison to the "real" world and what are your opinions on the net worths' of the characters that I mentioned earlier? universetwisters
I always thought Rockstar looked at plans for the houses and whatnot prior to actually modelling them, floorplans included. I do the same when I'm planning my mod, but I'm surprised rockstar doesnt!
