Children by and large are immature. It's to be expected and is something that we're all gonna have to cope with, however I take joy in someone complaining and expressing their discontent. It's the mark of a healthy online community.

I've given this some thought. Isn't it very immature of us to constantly rant on about how Rockstar sucks because they don't give us information about GTA V? I myself have given them a lot of hate in various threads, but come to think of it, Rockstar is doing this for a reason. We may not know why Rockstar has chosen this marketing strategy, and it may strike us, the fans, as weird and mean, but we should respect Rockstar's way of thinking. They have a vision, an idea of a GTA V, which we know little about, so instead of acting like little children we should just wait and see what Rockstar has in store for us. It's going to be good when it happens, that we know, so once and for all:

 

Stop hating Rockstar. They know what they're doing. Please be mature enough to understand that there might be some truth to what I'm saying.

These people have a right to be mad at rockstar. The only good info was on Nov 2 2011. That was 11 months ago. Rockstar won't even talk about GTA and spam the newswire with a dead game. They need to wake up and see that the people want GTA V and not a old washed out game.

Yes, people are allowed to voice their discontent because they are going to be paying for this product and have paid for previous R* titles...but IMO, they don't have a right to troll/spam and completely hate on R*. There's a limit on everything and there's a point where some people do cross the line.

I admit, Max Payne 3 was a commercial failure and they need to stop trying to resurrect it with DLC. I guess they're trying to recoup their losses but it just sucks.

As has been said, it's doubtfully that the reason for the lack of information is in Max Payne 3. Most likely they are go their own ways independently

 

The cause of irritation for some people here is in that they expect to see something about GTA V, but they see another bullsh*t about Max Payne, which is looks even more as bullsh*t on the background of potential information about GTA V

Well I guess Max Payne 3 is an easy target for peoples frustration because it's all we see on the newswire (it's like we're on www.maxpayne3.com) and R* hasn't actually come out and said why they aren't speaking about V yet except for "we're not ready"...so I guess people blame MP3 because they don't know what else to think.

I do not think it's MP3. When they are not talking about the DLC, they barely talk about MP3 on the newswire now. The crew cut is not MP3 but in general....it's just that MP3 is the only game they have so far that supports crews.

Very possibly that Rockstar is just follows new trends in game industry. DLC is one of them and now it becomes more and more popular. Together with multiplayer, DLC allows for relatively little cost to receive additional income multiple times, and also allows to be "in contact" with the player for a long time, to keep his interest in the product and to the future company's products

Something is seriously wrong with Rockstar maybe they got development problems. I seriously hope that whatever it is they fix it quickly. Remember back then when the trailer came out people that that we would be playing the game by now? And thought that 2013 is almost impossible now look what happened now people think that the game is late 2013 title not even March 2013. They are making their biggest game ever and are not sharing it with us.

Seriously, you can't even compare any other game to max Payne 3, no matter what, Max will always get a 10/10.

So the conclusion that Max Payne 3 DLCs hold-back GTA V isn't really reasonable in my opinion. By the way Rockstar said "in a few weeks or so". You can even see it in my signature. Anyway "in a few weeks" means 2-3 weeks, sometimes if it's vague even 4 weeks. The "or so" part can change it by 1-2 weeks, maybe even 3 weeks as vague as Rockstar is. The "in a few weeks or so" statement was made 6 weeks ago, not 2 months. Rockstar is most times vague so even if we get info just in late October they are still right, even if you and many other people might not think so.

Judging by the last events, it seems that "or so" means nothing, because a person who said this just likes to use these words.

The thing is LA Noire isn't a well known game. GTA V would take away half of the money away from Max Payne 3. It's also going be past two months before we get any info.

I am glad that there are so many "12-13 year olds" calling rockstar a douche and a dick for us. I don't want to waste too much time doing it myself, so it is nice that there are so many people who are willing to spend there time doing it for me.
