Isn't it very immature of us to constantly rant on about how Rockstar sucks because they don't give us information about GTA V? I myself have given them a lot of hate in various threads, but come to think of it, Rockstar is doing this for a reason. We may not know why Rockstar has chosen this marketing strategy, and it may strike us, the fans, as weird and mean, but we should respect Rockstar's way of thinking. They have a vision, an idea of a GTA V, which we know little about, so instead of acting like little children we should just wait and see what Rockstar has in store for us. It's going to be good when it happens, that we know, so once and for all: Stop hating Rockstar. They know what they're doing. As soon as the slightest bit of info is released, these kids do one of two things. They either 1) All of a sudden become God's angel and thank them to the point they look like they're their biggest fan, or 2) they continue to complain about the lack of 'big' info and still continue to bash Rockstar for not meeting with their 'standards'. These kids need to grow up and realise the world doesn't revolve around them, and granted there are some older members who do this as well, but the majority of those complaining are the younger kids/teens. Anything they give at this point is DEAD, simply because of the lack of information they have told us and gave us for the past YEAR. No one is being immature, were asking simple questions and even then, they won't answer them properly. I don't think we're the ones who need to be mature, R* are. We're the ones buying their product, they treat us like sh*t, we start asking questions and actual reasonable rants and they completely ignore us. I'd say EXTREME0235 seems to have it down-pact. People should notice that there are 20+ million views on YouTube on the GTA V trailer, and the younger generation seem to be 'going out of their way to represent the community'. The sad part is that some people don't know that the original players of GTA have been keeping quiet about GTA V unless news has came out. The problem is that the visiting of this section itself causes emergence of new hopes and then disappointment. For example, until July I did not even know about this forum, and in general I was not too interested in all the rumors of GTA V. I was browsing the news, saw some rumors and forgot about them. But this forum periodically gives reason to expect something new - information, or even the release date of the game. For example, some time in July, I allowed for the possibility that the game will be released in October. It coincided with the fact that Rockstar have become more active and started to provide more information, which is raised interest to the game. Then all hopes failed and now we can only speculate if the game will be released at least in March. Personally, I don't have a time to play games. Usually I'm playing in 2-3 games per year and usually it's the new parts of franchises that I can call as my favorite games. Mass Effect, The Witcher, Grand Theft Auto... So perhaps this fact also somehow raises my attention to these games. However, you can not deny the fact that Rockstar irritate even the most patient fans. To provide a trailer and then - silence. One month, second, a year ... But the moral of this is that the less you are interested in the game, including reading all of the rumors on this forum, the less all this will cause irritation. Oh, it's very mature if somebody calls Rockstar "Cockstar" as it's mature to spam Game Informer every month just because they didn't get some GTA V info from Rockstar to create a GTA V cover, right? It's extremely mature to insult Rockstar to the fullest and when they release new info then it's all "in love" again, right? LMFAO. Rockstar doesn't treat us like sh*t. They're simply not ready to talk about the game. Now don't ask why they did release the trailer that early. I think people should be glad that Rockstar has released a trailer instead just a logo for a f*cking long time. I think it's far from being mature to spam all Rockstar articles with things like "GTAV GTAV GTAV GTAV" or "WE WANTZ ZOME GTA V INFOZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and all that sh*t. Sure, I'm tired of Max Payne 3 and its goddman DLCs as a lot people here but that's no reason for being immature and spam the whole internet or stalk certain people as it was the case the last 11 months. If everyone is griping about something they will gripe with them and throw some left hook off the wall statement. Sad thing is, some of the actual fans, will believe it, and chime in with them. Rockstar are concerned about quality which is a good thing for us, they do not want to push it just to bank on and we should commend them for that. EA just pushed out their biggest release of the year, FIFA 13, which has been dubbed as the biggest and buggiest game release of the year. Would you guys be happy if R* done this? No. So people need to realize R* are not laying a marketing game with our brains, they are ensuring we get what we really want. A quality game.. I'm simply just getting bored of them and GTA V in general. Sure R* know what they are doing but the problem is we don't. I don't feel the need to spam there newswire or say "I hate you R* you suck". Look at all the titles of 2013 they have gameplays, trailers, previews, screenshots. What does GTA V have? If it is really March 2013 release they should have talked more about the game like The Last Of Us. I think waiting 11 months is pretty patient you guys don't need to tell us to be patient anymore.
