Lee Everett
If you go to RockstarWarehouse and look at PS2 titles http://www.rockstarwarehouse.com/Category.aspx?c=Games&v=PS2 You will see GTA 3, Vice City, San Andreas. But if you go and look at the Xbox titles http://www.rockstarwarehouse.com/Category....?c=Games&v=XBOX No GTA games. If you try and go to retails such as Gamestop, it's nearly impossible to find GTA there used, even if you check online. Did Rockstar stop production of GTA 3 and others on the Xbox? If they did, why? I've tried seaching for this everywhere, and can't find an answer. I had to buy my copy of Vice and 3 on ebay, which is really unreliable in my opinion and just sucks. Lee Everett
Can't you download game online from Xbox live or something?( I don't know it exactly I don't have Xbox) You can only get GTA SA on Xbox Live. Rockstar has officially posted that they have no plans on selling III on the marketplace due to "tech" issues. http://www.rockstargames.com/newswire/arti...eft-auto-v.html That's odd... I bought GTA III for XBOX Yesterday... Did you purchase it new, not unused? Like fresh with the plastic. Also, when I was buying the double pack on ebay, I noticed that if I wanted to buy it new, it would be $120.
nkjellman
Well, looks like I should hang on to my GTA III and VC on Xbox. But SA is still on there though.
Aaron1
Your only option at this point if you want it new is ebay, and you'll probably have to pay a high price since it's a classic, just like buying FF7 sealed on ebay, just not as much. Space Cowboy
That's strange, now on newswire there is nothing in Xbox section, Playstation 2 and in Xbox 360 there is only Max Payne 3. I suppose they have some technical problems, I think they will be avaiable soon

Aaron1
PSN version was republished by Sony, so the ball must in Microsofts court for it to happen, it seems R* are too busy with their new titles to go back and test these games for the new consoles. Arsen Vitiuk
No, it's not fair, it would be fair if both sides have GTA III, you can't compare SA to III Again, totally agree. For it to be truly fair, you'd have to have both III and SA on PSN and Xbox live. Because saying the current situation is fair would be the same as saying that 1 inch = 1 centimeter... If you catch my drift.
ccrogers15
Im bumping. For future reference, Xbox was unsupported in 2007. The reason they are no longer selling it new from rockstar warehouse, is because for developers to get games on official xbox disks and authorized, they had to go directly to microsoft. When Microsoft stopped the xbox games in 2007, that was it. Now, rockstar still has new copies of certain titles lying around at random for xbox. They must of finally sold the final copies of the GTA games on xbox. The reason PS2 is still selling, is because Sony still supports it, and its still possible to get games licensed on the console. The Playstation 2 is still popular in japan, just like PSP is still popular there because in japan, indie devs are developing mostly for older consoles because its cheaper. Bluray disks and flash carts are more expensive then Digital for PSP and DVD for ps2. Now that rockstar sold the last xbox copies, it will no longer be possible to obtain them new from them. You need to now get them on Amazon or ebay.
Space Cowboy
That sucks. I have seen few trilogy packs(III, VC, SA) in stores in my country, but they are rather rare now. I heard that even SA is no longer available on Xbox live. If you really want to play them, maybe you should consider buying ps2. It's really cheap now, imo it's still worth it and you'll be able to play stories too. But that's just my opinion.

pariah87
It's possible they don't want to sell it because of how bad it runs on the 360. I have it and it gets pretty laggy driving around.

Its fine for me. No, the reason i gave is the real reason. I heard the same from other developers before when i contacted there sales emails. EA games said the same. I had went and contacted them about possibly if they have new copies of The Urbz for Xbox still, and they told me that the stock they had from when Microsoft stopped supporting the xbox was the final stock, and they said if they had some lying around that would be the final ones ever. Arsen Vitiuk
It's great that Sony still supports PlayStation 2! Good old consoles are not to be forgotten. I guess it was destined for Xbox to be taken off the Microsoft support sooner or later, but I'd wish that Microsoft did uphold the Xbox support... Microsoft Had Stopped Supporting Xbox 1 Year After Xbox 360 and PS3's Launch. Microsoft Stopped Supporting it Because They Felt that the 360 Could Pick Up the Pace and Reach A Higher Position than the Original in a While. So Basically they "Lost Faith" in Xbox. Its Natural, Something Comes and then Goes, Its How Life is.
