Girish
Looks cheesy, an all action and not a good enough story kinda film, but hey, it's Bruce Willis and he's doing another Die Hard. I'd still watch it. Also, when did McClane father a son as old as Jai Courtney? And where the f*ck was he when Willis was all alone trying to save his daughter in 4.0? Creed Bratton
Oh come on! That is hands down the most generic looking action movie of all time, judging by the trailer. Girish is right. It looks cheesy. But it's like they made sure that every scene is cheesy. Huge explosions, slow-mo running with guns, military helicopters, lots of glass being broken, people falling everywhere etc.
GTA-King
IMO, a series should die while it's still good. Die Hard With a Vengeance is where it died for me. Won't stop me from seeing this one out of curiosity though, just like with Live Free or Die Hard.
Otter
You f*cking suckers. If I've ever seen a fake trailer, that's it. ...and then I watched the link. Sorry. Someone shared a trailer with yesterday that was so fake... I had assume the whole idea is a fake. Edited October 6, 2012 by Otter
Fnorg
That looks f*cking awesome. Just a silly, big, loud action movie.

True, and I bet that's what people said before Die Hard with a Vengeance, perhaps one of the best movies of all time, was made.
Exkabewbikadid
I WANT MY "YIPPEE KI YAY, MOTHERf*ckER" BACK, MOTHERf*ckER. If this ends up being f*cking PG13 again, I am just going to snap. Looking at the cast, it looks like they've already loused this one up by casting some pretty boy, metro jerk-off as McClane's son. Although, I've never seen this guy in anything, so hopefully my assumption is dead wrong. But how could they pass on Aaron Paul for the role?! Lame. ZerrickiShadow
What the hell have they done to Die Hard??? Seriously, this just looks like Live Free or Die Hard 2.0. This series is long gone. I will always cherish the first 3 films as a great action movie triology. Also Bruce Willis has played so many McClane like characters that he is pretty much just playing the same roll over and over again.

fridaynightscream
This movie is unnecessary. It's a cash grab that will have generic fight scenes and bad acting. I can't wait to see it! Sure it's gonna be genric, but hey! It'll be a good time I haven't watched the trailer above yet cause the audio quality sucks. I'll add to my favorites so I can watch it on the Youtube Xbox Live app.
Moth
yep, seeing this. This is the type of movie I go to theatres for, a big screen and a massive stereo is required. Formerly known as The General
Lock n' Stock
Die Hard is one of my favorite movie franchises, but Die Hard 4.0 (Or Live Free or Die Hard in the US) felt very little like a Die Hard movie to me. The balding John McClane, the toned down content and the cyber-terrorist plot mainly. It was a really fun movie, but had a very different feel from previous installments. I'm more skeptical about Die Hard 5, especially with the director of that bad Max Payne movie in the chair. I have to be open-minded and give it a chance though, I just hope they don't tone down the violence and language, and make it more like a Die Hard film. I wish John McTiernan (director of the original and With a Vengeance) would return as the director, but he got in trouble with the feds. He hasn't directed a movie for a decade. If you've watched DH1 or 2, you'd know that he had two kids, the daughter and son. Though the films focused mainly on his relationship with his wife and of course the ass-kicking in the building and at the airport. Sure this film don't look 5-star worthy but it's Bruce f*cking Willis. Count me in!
ZerrickiShadow
This film just looks like any generic action film we have had for the past few years or so. Bruce Willis seems to just be playing the same character he has been playing all of his recent roles instead of playing John McClane. This series is dead to me, and I feel the plot to this film is just silly. I didn't think Live Free or Die Hard was horrible but it was nothing compared to the original trilogy. This film looks like it will just be Die Hard 4.2.

Lock n' Stock
Watching the trailers, it actually looks really good. A bit more "Die Hard" than the fourth one is. I just hope they make it R-rated, though why should I care about that when there's different movie ratings over here. The first two are rated 18 but the third and fourth are rated 15. I can't see the fifth being an 18.
BullworthAcademy
Great news everyone! A Good Day To Die Hard will be rated R in the US, reports Collider. R stands for "restricted", meaning anyone under the age of 17 will only be admitted to a screening if accompanied by a parent or adult guardian. It is roughly equivalent to an 18 rating in the UK. The first three Die Hard films were all rated R, but the last installment, 2007's Live Free And Die Hard, received a softer PG-13 rating. This suggests Bruce Willis will not be pulling his punches - or minding his language - in his latest appearance as no-nonsense cop John McClane. WF the Hobgoblin
This is the first time I've not been that fussed about seeing a Die Hard film - and I like the fourth one. For some reason or another, I'm not keen on the Moscow setting and the whole new sidekick being his secret agent son just seems lame. DarrinPA
I've never seen Die Hard 4. This one looks better atleast, but I'm just comparing trailers. I'm just hoping for the day they bring back Sam Jackson.
