I Shot The Sheriff Posted October 6, 2012 Share Posted October 6, 2012 (edited) As far as I know, the Pacific Coast Highway or Highway 101 is one of the greatest driving roads in the world. Bordering the whole California west coast with thousands of miles of Pacific Ocean on your side, you find absolutely beautiful sceneries, bridges and winding roads. For those of you that don't know about it, here goes a pic with the location: Now, as GTA V obviously features Los Santos and SoCal, I'm convinced the PCH must have sort of an iteration, and thinking about it makes me get freaking exciting. I hope to god that that road below Pleasure Pier is the highway. It would be so beautiful to have it, just the thought of me driving my Audi R8 Convertible look alike on that highway in a metallic brown color drives my hype level up for this game. I am sure that GTAV will do this road right, in HD !! Yes that is right, and it was probably the best road in the whole San Andreas (except for the desert roads). You aren't from here so make sure your facts are straight. And once you get south of Big Sur, hwy 1 is no longer a fun drive. It's usually filled with traffic. If you want a real road that is fun to drive (especially on 2 wheels) look up mulholland hwy or decker canyon road. Both are huge spots in LA for driving enthusiasts. We turn off the traffic, simple as that. Right but the fact is, nobody on this thread is from LA except me. The funniest part about it is PCH is shown in the f*cking trailer. And yes. You can turn off the traffic but that doesn't change the fact that the 1 is still just a road that follows the coast. Look up mulholland hwy. and tell me THAT won't be fun. Yeah, 101 and 1 are two different highways. They become one in some places in SoCal, but they aren't the same. I hope both are in there, though. Depending on how big the game is, I would love even an eight minute motorcycle drive from one side of the map to the other on a freeway. That would just feel awesome. VegaLA Posted November 6, 2012 Share Posted November 6, 2012 The road that most interests me for Los Santos is how they are going to depict Wilshire Blvd. I used to drive down there from K Town to Miracle Mile when I used to work in the Hollywood reporter building on Mid Wilshire. That road stretches fom Downtown, pass Macarthur Park, all the way to Santa Monica and with the recent images showing Santa Monica pier there is a good chance of it being included.
