TOMAHAWKS
Well, there are 3 main areas in the GTA series. Liberty City (New York), Floreda (Florida), San Andreas (California) and we also got London. If Rockstar were to add another setting to the GTA series, what do you believe it would be based on? I believe it would take place somewhere up north, like Toronto, so we can have snow and all that sh*t.

Dragonjack
We still have to get Carcer City and Cottonmouth City. What do you think Carcer would be based on? The Manhunt series was a setting of carcer city. (if i'm correct though) On-Topic: What new areas would I like in the Grand Theft Auto Series? Chicago and Toronto. Carcer City is Chicago and Cottonmouth City is Atlanta. I always got more of a Buffalo/Philadelphia/Detroit vibe from Carcer City, and more of a Tampa from Cottonmouth City. huevos_benedicto_180
Chicago for me. I love that place and it would be great for a GTA game.

Carcer City is Chicago and Cottonmouth City is Atlanta. Sorry, but Carcer City is Detroit and Cottonmouth City is Philadelphia Rockstar has confirmed this on one of there Ask and Answered. I would like to see Sydney, San Diego, Chicago, Washington Dc but before that, I first wanna see San Fierro, Las Venturas and Vice City see returning, first Vice City. Hope Vice City will come out some where in 2014/2015 on the new consoles. Edited October 14, 2012 by Smaaske

Cottonmouth City = New Orleans,LA, Charleston,SC and Atlanta. Rockstar confirmed. Carcer City = Newark, Detroit, Philadelphia and Cleveland. Most Newark since it close to NYC. MikeMyth
I know this is off topic but, anyone ever hear peds in IV mention Carcer City? I've had the game for a while and only last week I heard a ped say (something along the lines of): Whoa, this isn't Carcer City (or just Carcer)! On-Topic: How about Chicago? Or maybe a small town with surrounding towns and such. Like the part of California where the show Sons of Anarchy is based?
zeppelincheetah
i've never heard of cottonmouth city. what game is that from? Carcer city was at least actually mentioned in a GTA game (GTA III) as far as new areas - in America they should try Chicago but i'd rather them go abroad. Maybe Dubai or Hong Kong. Have an American in a foreign city for the first time. Would make for an interesting story.
Pyrrhic
i've never heard of cottonmouth city. what game is that from? Carcer city was at least actually mentioned in a GTA game (GTA III) I've never played it but I think Cottonmouth is from Manhunt 2. Although I'm Australian, I would HATE to see an Australian city as the location. All the cars would be sh*t and the map would be plain and boring. I'd much rather see a recreation of Washington DC as the next setting.
