r33dp
Hi, I started my adventure with first modelling ideas, but as I read this tutorial I got confused. Everything went smooth till "Now select the pavement and kerb faces and drag the relevent texture from the folder onto the selected faces and [..]". Well, draging jpg pictures directly into workspace of 3d studio max did not work out (quite easy to guess) so I am here to ask you- how do I transfer simple eg. jpg image into a texture possible to load by clicking "M" in 3d studio max" and to apply for a surface? I read topic about texturing and: programs: ViceTxd (spooky) (gta3 + vice only) Txd Workshop (delfi/JernejL) - Now SA compatible! Txd Builder (steve m) game specific tutorials: Gaming Specific: http://www.planethalflife.com/wadfather/ http://www.vb3d.com/Textures.html http://www.planetquake.com/hfx/tutorials.html ^links to the tutorial page, but there are textures as well. those topics are dead,is any fresh tutorial out there somewhere? Nobody refreshed that main topic, maybe you have some good newbie tutorial here but its not marked as important. So, can you help me? Thanks in advance
Mark01
Normally textures should show up, if not click this little button Show standard map in viewport
