Vehicle texture shrinker

There is a texture shrinker that lowers the quality of things around you therefor you receive a higher fps, but this does not shrink the vehicle textures.

 

When you are around several cars fps drops, I figured with a mod like this maybe fps would be much better.

Since the game doesn't have options like IV for quality texture - lower - medium - high, very high

 

Vehicles usually have texture inside the car. If the number of poly is higher on that car, that will cause lower fps meaning the textures does not have any fault. If you want lower textures you just need to use Photoshop and resize them to 512x512/256x256 instead of 1024x1024/2048x2048 but rare you will see car texture above 512x512.

 

What you are looking for is something that the author would have made textures to lower level design like 10 years old game GTA III. To do that with photoshop is kind of hard since you can loose quality effects from that texture, understand nothing from it anymore.

 

If you have a old PC, you better stick to lower games.
