i tried Vice City last week and i found it incredibly lame and boring

Well f*ck you attention whore

Vice City is one of the most re-memorable games of the Grand Theft Auto franchise. If you find it lame. Please, just stop playing GTA

To be fair he might of just recently played it and it would lose it's magic then what it did have back in 02. He may have started with SA and IV.

Still first FF game I played was 13 but 9 is my favourite.

I'm playing Red Dead Redemption again.

Also, I recently found L.A. Noire for $15 and decided to buy it, despite most people complaining about how bad it is, I must say that I absolutely love this game.

I like seeing what LA looked like before the freeways, and experiencing an era that was always in black and white, now in color.

I was playing GTA IV + the Episodes and completing both games all over again throughout most of last year. I played Red Dead Redemption last year too, although it was mostly exploring the landscape, environments, hunting and messing around. Now, I am not currently playing any of them. I might have another spin on IV again though, but I have a few other games to get through first.

My two favourite GTA games are Vice City and San Andreas, I love those games. But after playing IV, I don't think I can get into playing any of the GTA III-era games like VC or SA right now, as they would just feel too technologically outdated, simple and stale. I'm now too used to the HD visuals and current-gen console tech to feel like playing them. Not forgetting that they would also feel too easy to play. I think it will be a long, good while before I might one day feel very nostalgic for the III-era and pick up those games to play for old time's sake.

Actually I kind of disagree General. I'm replaying GTA III atm and it feels harder because the controls are so crude compared to GTA IV.

Yes, I'm kinda re-playing the GTA series for a few months now.

Wouldn't play GTA I and II because they have no story.

I watched a replay of both III and Vice City (wouldn't care to play again, as I find III's limits too restricting, and VC a bit hard to complete), then I replayed San Andreas until 100%. Now, I'm going with IV, and then it will be EFLC and then a job or something, because my PC won't run V sad.gif

You know, with the new and longer cutscenes of IV and Max Payne, I just CAN'T wait to see what they have in store for us. I can't get enough of those cutscenes, I love the acting, the dialogue, what's going on, everything! It's like a film and a game I like combined smile.gif

Even when I'm a rabid SA fan, I'm going to admit IV's story is told in a much better way.

I finished VC 1 Time and SA 2 Times and IV well for the 6th Time

Now about IV it was a masterpiece but no one appreciated the genius behind that game. For example the Scientist from NASA said world reacts exactly like Liberty City

I've beaten III over 7 times in the past year, VC two or three. I haven't played SA in quite some time because of the story length. Right now i'm playing through III again with the peds have weapons cheat and the peds attack each other cheats on, and in VC i'm playing through with melee weapons only for the second time.

That's what I love the most about GTA, after you beat it, you can play it again and again and again but do it differently each time if you wish, keeping the game fresh. biggrin.gif

Maybe for you.

But for me, the III-era games would feel to easy. I've played them so much in the past that I've mastered the feeling of playing them. Not just that, but the look and feel of the graphics and physics would feel too outdated for me - I did try playing San Andreas once, and it felt just that way. Maybe at some point I will play them again, but not in the near future.

I'd rather just keep on playing GTA IV or RDR until GTA V finally comes out.

Now playing Vice City. It's so fun...but incredibly easy.

That's just what I mean. The III-era games would be too easy for me to really get into if I play them now, it would a real walk in the park. III and VC would be so easy, and only SA would present a bit of a challenge, simply because the game is so huge and varied.

I started with GTA III again. It seems really awesome with HD cars and Claude. Also, I shoot screens on my playthrough. Really entertaining.

I was replaying GTA III, VC, San Andreas, IV (GTA, GTA II) to 100% back in the summer expecting that when I finished we'd get info. I was wrong but it was fun while it lasted.

Sneakerhead.

Yes, like this:

PC:

GTA III: One with cheats, one with none. (Except health/armor and no cops, this game is hard lol)

GTA VC: One save with cheats, one without.

GTA SA: One save with cheats, one without. (Some times I go on the DM SA-MP servers! biggrin.gif )

PS3:

GTA III: Same as PC.

GTA IV: One save with cheats, one without.

GTA EFLC: One save with cheats, one without.

PS2:

GTA SA: Same as PC

VC: Same as PC

III: Same as PC

PSP:

Vice City Stories: Half ofmy saves have cheats, the other half do not.

I've been playing lots of IV MP again for the last few weeks. I 've noticed that I'm not nearly as fanatical as when I was going for the golden star though. I'm playing mostly team deathmatches with weapons set to RPG's, stuff like that. Just having some fun. I can't help but feel V will be amazing when I'm playing IV MP smile.gif

Shreddy Krueger

I tried replaying Vice City and San Andreas about 6 months ago and I just couldn't do it. It was fun for about an hour, and then the limitations of the older consoles got the best of me and I couldn't enjoy the brutal physics and (now) sh*tty graphics. Currently, the only thing allowed in my 360 is Borderlands 2. Perhaps this weekend I'll re-visit Max Payne 3 single player. I haven't been shoot-dodging in quite some time.
