What do you guys think about my theorie? Wil the second trailer be live on NOVEMBER 2, 2012 ? ** Edited Date from November 1 to 2. Keep dreaming. New trailer probably after November, after all that Gameinformer stuff I think this is going to happen yes. No trailer on November 2.. I think we hear more about this game via Game Informer. I've come to realize that R* will take ages ( yes, that took " a few months' time ", in R* words), so it will probably be somewhere around mid to late October. It would be very annoying to know that we ALL have waited 1 year for a second trailer if they decide to release it on November 1. I think lots of GTA Fans will go MAD.. It's not impossible that the scenario will occur but somehow it feels too "predictable". I think we will see the second trailer next month but on the other hand I wrote that some time ago so I really don't know what to expect anymore. IIRC, both SA and IV's second trailer came out AFTER the GI preview which revealed the protagonist and the plot. So far we have neither, and for that reason cannot see the see the second trailer any time soon until we have that information. Hope I'm wrong of course. RockStarNiko Posted September 25, 2012 Share Posted September 25, 2012 Releasing the second trailer and beginning the marketing campaign 2 weeks before the release of COD Black Ops would be a bad decision in my opinion. It will not effect any of us GTA fans, because we going to buy GTA V no matter what. However, from sales and marketing view, it would be best to release the trailer around 2 weeks AFTER COD is out. The casual gamers and kids who are not that clued up on GTA need to be SOLD a game. If you release a trailer, but then 2 weeks later they all get distracted by COD and forget all about GTA, this is not good for sales and marketing. Its psychology. You need to keep something fresh in their head. 2 weeks after COD there will still be lots playing it but that initial buzz and excitement will be a lot less. This. R* is so unpredictable to the point where I am done speculating dates of new trailers, screens, etc. They promised about a month ago we'd get something in a few weeks or so. That SHOULD mean we get something pretty soon, but again, with their unpredictability it could be November or later before we get something else. I'm still believing in December 2012 though; still seems to make sense to me, unless there's still nothing by the conference call in November and TTWO says otherwise.
