DEALUX
This video is hilariously bad, which is why I like it. I wouldn't have this on my computer, the song and video combo works for me only. It's better than other bad songs out there. Finn 7 five 11
I've been living under the a rock because I only found out about it today. It was even on Rockstars newswire - http://m.rockstargames.com/newswire/articl...gnam-style.html It has gone up like 5-10 million views daily since it went viral, dunno how you haven't seen it. Some American Music producer is trying to make his song hit number 1 on the U.S charts or something, i love the tune to be honest, especially from 3:40 onwards, not to mention it's hilarious. Only prior knowledge was the guy being photochopped in GTA V screenshots in the screenshots fun thread in the GTA V forum. My brother showed me the video today and it was honestly the first time I'd seen it.

EscoLehGo
I wanted to hate this, I had been seeing memes about it a few weeks after it went viral and they were pissing me off really badly. One day I finally broke down and watched the video and despite wanting to hate it with all my being I f*cking loved it. I watched it like 20 times in a 2 day span, I couldn't deny the awesomeness that was the dance and song, there are also some really well done parodies of it too. Plus, I'm not sure why, but the girls look sexy as sh*t when they're doing that little horsey dance, sends me straight to the bone zone everytime. ExtremoMania
Well we can't really stop watching this vid, and yes I have to say I really love the music, the scene; but the best of all, is the dance.

WF the Hobgoblin
I'd seen this Gangnam thing mentioned around the internet but I didn't know what it was. I even saw the IV video on R*'s newswire but didn't watch it. Just watched the original video, tune is a bit meh, somewhat catchy but nothing special. The dances are kind of amusing though. Edit: sh*t. As I half suspected, after watching it a few more times, it's already started to grow on me. Jimmy_Leppard
For my taste, that's the stupidest song/video I've heard since.. A long time. And of course again, what makes me very angry is the fact that a song like that gets the attention of millions of people and gets known and recognized all around the world while real musicians and artists who've dedicated their whole life to music are almost unknown. Shame, actually.

autotheftisgrand
What's funny about this is that PSY meant this song as a satire for the Korean Pop industry. He got tired of all the boybands/girlbands as the benchmark for K-Pop to the world. He never meant this to be taken seriously as a "real" song. Known this weeks ago, it's great watching it as a viral phenomenon but it irked me when nightclubs started playing this

''Funny'' songs are more recognizable and pulling than real complex/emotional/whatever you wanna call them, songs. The music isn't as accessible and appreciated as in the previous years. That's my point.

Moth
"Funny'' songs are more recognizable and pulling than real complex/emotional/whatever you wanna call them, songs. Don't you think its cause there are so many of them to begin with? Songs about love, life and bunch of other crap like that. Now then, how many songs that have caused a ton of people to laugh? Not as many. Plus not every f*cking song needs to be emotional or complex. Formerly known as The General
Gtaghost22
I have watched the song long before it got popular, it had like 1.5m views i think when i first heard it, it's really funny but it's going to get old fast, people will get over it, it's few likes away from being the most liked video on Youtube by the way, pretty good seeing it isn't even in the top 10 most watched videos on Youtube

There are many action movies or comedy movies for example, but you don't feel the need to watch ''something else'' when a new action or comedy movie gets released, do you now? Secondly, I wasn't talking about songs with lyrics actually. I was talking about instrumental musicians where real musicality is expressed. And ''plus'', did I ever say every f*cking song needs to be emotional or complex? Thank you.
Rhoda
I can take it or leave it. It's just another one of those popular songs that's caught the eyes and ears of the world. It's no different to Lonely Island, or Adele.
Guest
I don't buy into this fad bullsh*t. That's my point. I personally don't listen to music for some sort of intellectual exercise. I listen to relax and enjoy it. @Lazyboyeight, You're so hardcore man. Btw, video is weird as hell... in a good way. Song isn't bad either, but it's definitely not something I'll be listening to in a couple years or so (like most modern electropop). Brown Sugar
It's oriental Asian, what else would you expect, their pop culture is completely different from anybody else. That's probably why most western people find it funny though it's meant to be funny anyway we just wouldn't get it because it's targeted at a Korean audience.
