Yeah, twice. I remember I got stuck at 99% once because I was unable to locate that package on the roof where you do Bomb da Base from GTA III.

I finded this package.

Once. That RC race on Staunton island. F*ck that.

Got 100% with 10 packages still missing. Thought what the heck and started rampaging.

No one would believe me... but I completed it 100% using PPSSPP v0.9.6 Capture.PNG?async&rand=0.022719146683812

I've completed it 100% on PPSSPP 2 times and so what...

I mean, people think PPSSPP controls are too strange to understand (idiots). But I found those controls interesting compared to PC version of III, VC and SA. ;)

Yeah. Firstly it was not so comfortable but after playing a while you'll get used to play and can play it same easily as any of pc GTAs :)

I've completed LCS to 100% now 12 times. I barely have to save the game anymore as I know what to expect and all the Missions are easy for the most part, especially the Story Missions. Luckily most of all existing Side Missions are done in my 48% Starter Save, so I never have to do them when I start a new game. I always start at 48% instead of 0%. Makes the game go much quicker and have much more fun with it.

Don't you have fun in completing side missions?

Lethal Vaccine

Not in the 3D Era. For instance, Paramedics, Fire Truck, Vigilante, Taxi, etc, etc is more or less the same old stuff for 5 3D Era GTA Games (III, VC, SA, LCS, VCS) and it gets very boring having to do a ton of playthroughs to perfect them. So instead of starting from 0% in III, I start at 52%. In VC I start at 44%. Unfortunately I didn't do the 13.37% Starter Save in SA and in LCS I have a 48% Starter Save and for VCS a 49.20% Starter Save. I rather do the Story and Special Vehicle hunt than worry about these mindless side Missions time and time again. I've done it way too many times...No difficulty for me, either. Adding the Special Vehicle Collections add the extra difficulty level I am seeking when I play GTA.

Finally learning to fly in GTA III maybe? That's the thing you have not yet mastered. So instead of pointless bragging about you not being able to do it, how about put your time into it? At least on PS2, it is relatively easy, believe me.

It might be easy, sure, but all it will add is 1% to my III Starter Save. It's not on my "to do list." What I am working on now, besides working 10 hour shifts at a new job, is an SA Save on PS2 but in Slot 2, considering there was new Special Vehicle discoveries like the AP Packer, AP Sultan, and DP/EP/FP/MP BF-400. I got them all yesterday in Just Business with 1 Mission Failure and all 3 at the same time, but it took 3 hours and over 30 tries.

That is what I like, I like difficult, time consuming tasks, hence why I collect. I already have 57 Special Vehicles in my Slot 1 Save and using Slot 2 for another 100% run and to gather up all new discoveries and also some EP/FP Vehicles created via Gray Imports and such to make the Save worth while. So combining my Slot 1 Save and Slot 2, I will have over 75 Special Vehicles...

It's not like I NEED an RPG early on in GTA III. I can just wait until SSV is legit unlocked to grab the last hidden package. I can already fly the Dodo for a few seconds to simply hop it over the broken Callahan Bridge and get it to Portland for the I/E Garage. I've done the full Starter Save for both PS2 and iOS and it's as complete as it can be other than getting 1 Hidden Package. Learning to fly is very small compared to doing SA to 100% with these new discoveries. That takes priority. Even more, going to work and getting payed is more of a priority right now. I can only game like 2 days a week so I rather do something else than learn how to keep the nose end of the Dodo down so it stays in the air for longer than 8 seconds lol...

Just reached 100% an hour ago, even though it must be said that I've got the german version where 7 rampages were cut out of the game.

This site was very helpful, especially the maps:

http://sidewaysg.weebly.com/gta-liberty-city-stories.html

I used the "Islandhopping"-strategy, which means that I've collected all packages, did all stunt-jumps, rampages and side-missions on Portland before I moved on to Staunton and did the same on Staunton before unlocking and moving on to Shoreside Vale.

All three RC races were a pain in the ass and I hope I'll never have to do them again.

Once on the PSP and twice I did the PS2 version, which I believe was on my PS3, but I'm not 100% certain.

Still not sure if I want this game on iOS, but considering it.

They made the RC races unnecessarily difficult on the PSP version of the game, at least. I forget if I had problems with the PS2 controller when that port was released. Honestly, its these races, among a few other things, that are making me hesitant about buying the game on iOS. I cannot even begin to imagine how difficult these RC races will be with the virtual controls on the iPad.

I find Touch Screen Controls pretty easy, tbh. I never played a Mobile GTA until Chinatown Wars, 1 year ago when I bought it on Christmas Day 2014 for iOS. Once I completed that to 100% (which is the hardest GTA for Mobile Controls), I had NO problems at all playing III, VC, and SA for iOS. LCS? Well, it's the same damn thing. LCS on iOS feels a lot like SA. Same thing how SA feels on PS2 compared to LCS on PS2.

These Races might me "tough" due to poor physics and the dumb ass top heavy monster RC Trucks they give you to use for these Races, but they can be done at the beginning of the game and anyone who doesn't like these types of Side Missions should really think about completing a Starter Save. This means doing Home Sweet Home, and then stopping ALL Story Missions and finishing EVERY remaining Side Missions and Collectible that you can do after Home Sweet Home before any other Story Mission. This way, a lot of the tedious nonsense is done with whenever you want to start a new game, you will always be 48% when you start and not 0%.

Same as me! Once on the PSP and PS2 last year, and once on the PS2 this year (in my old save I didn't knew you could only get the Avenger bike once.)

Well I see this game is pretty easy to everyone for me it was the hardest GTA I ever played. GTA V is way easier :D But I followed the guides and finally completed the game for 100 % (40 hours of gameplay total)

I was so, so, so close, I mean, I am, it's on my PS3 i'm talking about, I'm around 90% or more (I can't remember) but since my joysticks/console are seem to be f*cked up (I'm pretty inactive at consoles) I can't get to play the game anymore, same thing goes to VCS.

I might just download a PS2 emulator and re-start all over again from there.

I think I managed to, though I'm not sure. I remember the tank spawning in Fort Staunton but I dunno if that really happened or a false memory of watching GTASeries's 100% so many times. I can't remember obtaining the hidden packages but collecting them is mind numbing as is. I could check in game to be sure but I'm so lazy.
