timecyc is the exact same format, again, shouldn't be too hard to mess with, hell, you could even throw on an option for VCS weather on there!

Actually VC and III timecyc are different, VC has ambience color options, water and blur colors.

 

But there isn't too much difference in ambience colors at extra sunny weather, so I converted extra sunny as sunny.

 

Also we have an advantage, mobile III doesn't have hardcoded darkness which PC's have.

 

@Ash_735 If you can provide converted VCS timecyc to me, I will try tounge.gif

Don't use that glossy look crap, the original never used it so this one shouldn't either, by using it, you actually make it stand out as looking wrong and out of place. wink.gif

Nice, but I would suggest you to use Tommy's Shirt's color as background color.

 

 

Are you making it from scratch? Because i see you have buildings without anything near.

It's 12:19 and you used the Night model that's suppose to render between 8PM and 5AM.

Many objects on Ocean Drive (north) use 2 the same models, one for daytime (objects with suffix _dy) and nighttime (with suffix _nt).

 

3\VC don't have NVC system like SA does, so R* swapped models in order to get the right Vertex Colors.

Just copy the TOBJ section from VC to 3 and it you should be on your way.

I know all of this, but i chose to convert the night _nt objects as full day+night objects because III has such a small amount of available ide lines, and CP seems to think otherwise, it seems that he thinks that the amount available will be enough to convert every individual VC object, including _dy+_nt objects however i disagree, i think that we need to attach objects together to conserve what little ide lines are available to replace and add.

 

CP, what's your stance on ide availability and on my opinion of the spare ides?

Yeah, it will be better to attach few models into one, we can have later a lot of free ID. I never finish that damn airport biggrin.gif

What about the _dy + _nt situation? I'm converting only night objects and then the timecyc can be edited so it doesn't show the neon glow during the daytime. This method would mean less id numbers are used and the neon glow on the nighttime objects will glow at night, but not glow during the day so it matches VC.

I've got that trees.

But editing vertex colors in timecycle doesn't change this on another objects?(like with my airport)

Yeah it would make the airport (and all map objects) brighter, so they match VC's brightness.

Yes. I need them very much, because converted city with empty roads looks like dead city.
